I took a chance and rented this dress because I loved the color and the lace, even though most of the other reviews complained about the strange fit. I should have listened to their advice because the fit is awful. I am 5"7 and normally a size 4, both in clothes and other RTR gowns. I ordered a 6R because it was the only size left. It was incredibly small and too short. The area around my midsection/ribs was way too tight, but also had fabric ballooning outward underneath my breasts. The zipped along the size made weird bumps down the dress and along my hips. The cleavage was just way too much for me. It was incredibly revealing even though I have a small chest. Not like how the model looks in the picture. Double sided tape wouldn't work for me because the top was so tight. Very sad, but I would not recommend this to anyone else.

I didn't end up wearing this dress. I didn't love the black color blocking on it. It had a nice weight to it, felt heavy but not too heavy when I was walking around. I am 5"7 and normally a size 4. I received a 6R, which was a bit too bit, so I would say it runs true to size (I should have ordered a 4L). I did love the green color sequins, was very glamorous, and loved the mermaid bottom and the way it swung when I walked. I also really liked the back of the dress, just didn't like the black along the neckline.

This was my back-up dress for a black tie Winter wedding. I thought it fit nicely overall, I am 5"7 and normally a size 4, and the 4L fit well with 3" heels. I didn't end up wearing the dress because I wasn't comfortable with the amount of cleavage it shows... if that doesn't bother you then I would go ahead and rent it. The gold and black lace fabric had a really cool texture, but didn't make the dress heavy. It was ornate and fancy-looking up close.

This was my back-up dress for a black tie Winter wedding. The dress was simple but fit perfectly and looked great next to a tuxedo. It is lined with the softest satin that felt great again the skin. I am normally a size 4, and wore a 4L which fit great. The length was perfect with 3" heels. I would recommend for anyone searching for a classic looking, flattering dress.
