Beautiful gown, but it was only available in the 2L and it just didn't fit. Every dress I have rented from RTR I have ended up wearing the 2L size, but I probably needed the 4 or even 6 which probably would have been to big in the bust. Just not the right cut for me. The overlay is slightly stretchy, but the lining has no give at all, so it just wouldn't fit over my hips.

The fit was true to size and unlike others I've rented, the length was perfect with 3-4" heels. The gown is GORGEOUS and a very classy shade of rose gold, not in-your-face yellow gold that could come off as cheesy. My only complaint is that since my shoulders are fairly broad, the bateau neckline chaffed against my neck and left a raw spot the next day. Going up to the size 4L solved that problem, but the dress was visibly too big elsewhere, so I opted for the 2L. Given how amazing I felt in the dress and the number of compliments I received, I consider it a mild inconvenience and would likely rent it again.

I ordered this dress after the one I really wanted was no longer available in my size. I ordered the 2L and 4L and though the 2L fit well in the body, it was a bit short with my 3" heels for my preference. (I like it to sweep the floor) Because the fabric is stretchy I was able to wear the 4L for the length without compromising the fit. As other reviews mentioned, you definitely need dress tape along the bust as the top rolls over and shows the lining, but that easily fixes the problem. Though this dress wasn't my first choice, I ended up being really happy with it. I looked elegant and felt comfortable in it all night long. Highly recommend!
