This was my back up size for a wedding with a conservative group of people. If the weather was warmer, this would have been the dress. I'm short, so the length didn't bother me, but definitely would have if I was taller (I also never really wore super short skirts much, so it could be a comfort level thing too). The fabric kind of looked cheap to me when I opened the box, but was reassured when I put it on. Would rent this again in the future.

This was a great mix of covered up but sexy/stylish for a wedding with a conservative group. I'm short so the length worked great for me. Just wore nude pumps and a baubly bracelet. You don't need to heavily accessorize to make a statement. My husband said "You were the belle of the ball...uh, except the bride of course".

This is a very low cut dress. I had to get creative with safety pins and pin up about 2 inches to make this appropriate for a conservative military event. This would probably be unnecessary for someone with a long torso and small chest, but I'm short and busty. That said, it is an incredible dress and I got lots of compliments. And it is definitely a different color choice than the sea of black and red dress I was standing among. As for length, I'm 5'1" and wore 3" heels. It was probably 1/2 inch too long, but it would have been fine if I sucked it up and wore higher heels.

Running up to the event, I got nervous based on reviews that a Regular length dress would be too long (I'm 5'1"). I was only going to wear 3" heels. So customer service graciously switched me to a short length. I wish I hadn't done that. With 3" heels, most of my shoe was showing. The back has a slight train, so that fell to the floor. Maybe it's just me, but I wanted the dress to fall right at the floor in the front. I did not end up wearing this style. While it was indeed very comfortable, versatile, stunning,etc. It was so short that I went with my back up dress. I will probably rent this for my next formal affair, but in regular length. At 5'1" I never thought I'd say a dress is too short! Also - this was the dress I received a backup size in - and neither came with the belt. Maybe they are loosing them with all the rentals - so plan ahead if your rental is the day before your event or out of town.
