Fun but seemed cheap
These were cute, fun earrings, a nice size, and not too heavy for all-night wear. I think the reason they were not too heavy is they definitely felt like cheap material. They did not even have a proper backing to the earring, but rather a plastic backing that immediately gives the earrings away as costume jewelry. Not really something I'd want to wear with my hair up or to a really formal affair.

Cute dress but in poor shape
This dress was very cute, looks as it does in the photo with the model. Fits true to size - I wore the 4 - and the belt was easily fitted (two belts were provided, one with each size). That said, the size 4 was in really, really bad shape. I looked like I was wearing a dress from a vintage store that had been seriously used. The lace (which is not really lace, it's more like cotton) was fraying all over the place, lots of loose threads, and the lining was kind of hanging out below the bottom of the lace overlay. Also, the whole dress seemed a little dingy in color, just like it had been cleaned so many times. If this was my own dress, it would have been retired long ago. It's a shame, because it's a cute, functional, well-fitting dress that's great for a relatively casual afternoon wedding. Plus, I love Ali Ro in general and this is just as cute and fun as all the Ali Ro dresses I've seen. If you are a size 4, though, stay away unless or until they order a new dress in that size!

Hard to arrange
This dress is very pleated and thus very difficult to arrange in the way it is styled on the model. It looked awful on me and gave me a belly pooch no matter how I arranged it, even though I don't actually have a belly! It also hugged my trouble spots (hips/thighs) and the nude color just didn't do it for me. It fit abominably and I couldn't wear it. Definitely different than I thought it would be. RTR was awesome with the return though. Thanks.

Beautiful lace dress, very elegant
Love this dress. Perfect for smaller on top pear girls, as there is definitely room in the skirt (although no stretch up top or in the arms, really). Felt very elegant and classic in the dress, pair with nude or black pumps. Somewhat movement-restricting, but worth it for a more formal, cooler weather event.

Back up dress - does the job!
This is the perfect, easy LBD for a pear girl. Not too poufy of a skirt, but enough swing that it flatters the lower half. It is slightly bigger on top I think, so maybe consider sizing down for back up size if you're smaller in the bust. I didn't end up wearing is as it was my back up, but will probably rent again when I need a functional, simple but very cute LBD. A great classic basic.

Cutest summer dress
Absolutely loved this dress, if it wasn't such a short season of being able to wear it, I would have rented over and over again! Fits perfectly, short but not toooo short (5'7"), the top is definitely fitted waist-up and has no stretch. Best detail is the eyelet on the back, it comes around a bit on the side too, so it's a little peek-a-boo but is just so darling. A little fun and sexy but perfectly conservative to get by anywhere. Loved it.

Husband loved it! Cute, preppy and comfy.
Wore this out on a date with my husband and was very happy. Such a bright, springy color, and a cute timeless preppy style, very classic. The skirt isn't poofy, just a nice easy A line. Love the little keyhole neckline, but still very modest. Fits definitely true to size for me, but might be tighter in the chest if you are bigger busted? Not sure. All in all loved the dress and would rent again or buy!

Cute, Comfy and Conservative
This was a really cute dress. I felt a little like Taylor Swift in it - meaning it's pretty "young" feeling, definitely a conservative cut (loose skirt, modest V neck), and a fun kind of country but flirty feel. The dress I received was brand new (tag was still on!) so it was in perfect condition and I felt great in it. Got a lot of compliments on its cuteness and color. The only issue was that it definitely ran big. The skirt is clearly intended to be unfitted and flowy, but even the rib cage/bodice area was quite loose (despite looking like it was intended to be fitted in the waist) and the straps had plenty of extra space. The length was also very conservative on me, and I'm 5'7", so it could be quite long on shorter girls! I would maybe size down if you're smaller up top!

I loved them, my ears didn't
Very cool and fun earrings, but they were extremely heavy, and the backings that came with the earrings were not strong enough to hold the earrings in place. My right earring fell out 3 times throughout the night, and left my ear lobe red, swollen, and bordering on infected-feeling, so I had to give up on these halfway through the evening. In theory, though, they're fantastic.

So many compliments!
This is a gorgeous dress. So stylish and classy yet sexy. I have honestly never received so many compliments on a dress or an outfit in one night - from total strangers at a black tie affair, and from everyone ranging from young and glamourous socialites to older women. It was a hit! It's a form-fitting dress with no real stretch, but I felt it did fit true to size and did define the waist in a lovely way. The long length was perfect with reasonable 3" heels - I definitely couldn't have gone higher with the heels. Had just a couple issues with the dress, all easy to plan around - first was the bust area - obviously it was a deep v and it looked gorgeous, but there was a lot of excess fabric on me (I'm very small in that area anyway) and it draped a little funny, plus was so extremely loose up there that I was risking a wardrobe malfunction ALL night. If I had thought ahead and had fashion tape it would have been fine, but it was difficult to deal with and made me quite self conscious and worried all night. The other issue is the cap sleeve - it's lovely and looks gorgeous, but with delicate lace like that you need to be careful about arm movement. It made dancing quite difficult as my arms/shoulders were really quite constricted. In short, I think this dress would be perfect for any black tie affair where dinner/mingling was more the plan rather than dancing, and renters absolutely need to have fashion tape on hand!

Not a summer dress...
First off, this dress was beautiful. Very high-end and luxe fabric, very well made, and was in great condition. It definitely runs large though as the 4 was quite big on me. This would be a great option for hippy girls as the skirt is quite flared and has tons of extra fabric. For me, I felt the extra fabric and flared skirt just added unnecessary bulk and made the whole thing a little too schoolgirl for my taste. It's also very heavy, as many other reviewers have said, so perhaps a better option for the fall/winter rather than summer. I ordered it as my back-up and didn't end up wearing it for all of these reasons. It's a lovely dress, but just wasn't for me in the end.

Wanted to Keep It!!!
Absolutely LOVED this dress. It's a more vibrant color than it looks in the photo - hard to describe - but more aqua-colored than forest green, which is really pretty. The chest/top area is quite fitted, which worked perfectly for me, but would probably not work well on a larger-chested girl. The skirt is a bit more flowy and not fitted on your hips. Very flattering! The arms were a bit loose/baggy for me, but length was perfect (and I often have an issue with things being too short). Was the absolute perfect dress for a more formal party! Got TONS of compliments.

Rich in color and style
I loved this dress - the color and fabric are so gorgeous in person and look really, truly "rich." It may be a somewhat plain style but you can tell immediately that this is a special, haute couture dress. I had SO MANY compliments from women and men. Everyone loved it! I was nervous about the ruffle accent, as I'm bigger in the hip/thigh region, but it was really fashion forward and added something to the dress. I'm docking one star just because the dress does "pleat" a little (as you'll see in the photo of the model) despite not being too tight, which makes it look as though you're squeezing into it a little bit even though there was extra fabric all around. The fit is a LITTLE tricky, but the dress is so gorg that those little imperfections don't really matter in the end.

Bachelorette Perfection
I wore this for my bachelorette party out in the city and it was perfect!!! So fun and glam and effortlessly sexy. It does run large and I think works well on small chests (pretty low cut). It hides the tummy the way it's cut, which I didn't love at first but appreciated and felt great it when I was out! That's what I mean by effortlessly sexy - you won't feel uncomfortable or worried about looking even remotely trashy in this dress! LOVE IT.

Nice dress, but the "regular" sizes are NOT for the long-legged girls out there. Other than the length, it fits well and is definitely slimming. My main complaint is that it is SHORT! I'm only 5'7" but the 4, which fit well in every other respect, was way too short on me, even in bare feet. Had to wear my lowest acceptable heels, which were fully visible beneath the dress, and felt a little weird about the length all night. I don't know how it looks so long on the model in the photo - there were quite a few inches between the bottom of the dress and the ground when I wore it. Pay attention to sizing, get a long if you have long legs and plan to wear low-heeled shoes.

This dress just arrived for my weekend of holiday parties and I LOVE it! Seriously - rent it for your holiday parties now if you can. It has a little more of a pouf at the hip/skirt than is obvious from the pictures, but that balances out the neckline well. Not too short like many Milly dresses, the 4 was a great length on me and I'm 5'7". Probably wouldn't be great for larger chested girls? Definitely recommend it though, can't wait to wear it!

Shockingly tight bottom half..
This dress was gorgeous in person (much better than in the photo) but my back up size (a size larger than I normally wear!) was way too tight. It zipped up but was super fitted in the hip, thigh, backside and over the stomach. If I had a larger chest it would have been obscene. Anyway - the bottom half was too tight for me to move in or sit in and I couldn't wear the dress. Such a shame. Made me feel like a whale :(

So cute, SO short
I absolutely adored this dress and it was much better in person than expected from the photos. The detailing was so cute, and the shoulders were a good look as well (and not as restrictive as one might expect, and I have broad shoulders!). Unfortunately, this dress was FAR too short to be appropriate, even with opaque black tights. My regular size (4) fit perfectly everywhere else, and perhaps was even a tiny bit loose through the stomach and certainly had plenty of room at the hip, but it barely cleared my rear. Sitting down was wildly inappropriate. The back up size was no better. Unfortunately I was unable to wear this darling dress because of the length issue. Such a shame, as it fit perfectly everywhere else and I am not even that tall (5'7"ish). RTR was great and responsive about the fit issue, but it's still a disappointment as this dress is super cute! Rent if you're short.

Beautiful dress in theory, disaster on. I hated it, boyfriend liked it, didn't want to waste the $100+ rental fee, so I wore it anyway, but was unhappy all night. As other reviewers have said, the belt did NOT fit, dug in below my ribs, and couldn't squeeze it between my hipbone and ribcage - this dress is not for "short waisted" girls. I had to use my own black belt/ribbon from a Milly dress in my closet. The dress itself is lovely, the draping at the neck gorgeous, but it just was not flattering on me. Made me look as though I have a tummy pooch, and that's one area I normally don't have a problem with! Length and fit did seem true to size, but beware if you're short-waisted or have any sensitivities about a tummy pooch.
