I thought for sure that this was THE dress I would wear to my formal event. However, I felt it was a bit large for my 5'2" frame, mostly how it fit in the shoulders/neckline. I also couldn't get it tied in a way that I loved and last, it was a lot heavier than I expected. It is a nice gown and may work very well for others, but it didn't work for me.

I reserved this dress as a backup with no intention of it being the actual gown I would wear. As soon as I slipped it on, I was in love. It is surprisingly comfortable and I didn't need to wear a bra due to the structured bodice. I did end up getting some shapewear to flatten my midsection which made me feel more comfortable in the gown. Don't have any pics because I was working the gala event and unfortunately didn't end up on that side of the camera!

This dress is wonderful. Perfect for a fall or winter event due to the color pattern. I paired it with black tights and suede booties for a weeknight cocktail event. I also wore a skinny black belt at the waist to break up the pattern a bit. Lots of compliments.
