I originally ordered this in an 8L and a 10R as my backup. They were unable to send the 8L but did send the 10R and it did not fit right. A little too short for me for a black tie wedding (more ankle length) and too big. I think the 8L would’ve been perfect. Otherwise, beautiful dress, plain but I think can be dressed up to make it appropriate for a formal event/wedding.

Work to a black tie wedding and it was great. Comfortable, was able to wear a strapless bra with it. I’m tall (5’9”) and the 8L was long enough on me (hit just above the floor). Size was great for me too, good shape to it but not too tight!

Dress is beautiful, the color is great and the lace is high quality. It’s form fitting but forgiving because of the lace overlay. I rented for a black tie wedding and didn’t end up wearing it because it was too short for me. It ended around my ankles/top of my foot (I’m 5’9”). Otherwise the M fit me well.
