Didn't get a pic of me wearing this dress in the red, but here it is in the blue at an awards event earlier this year. Recently, I rented the red version for a sales pitch to a room of executives in Miami--total win! The dress is consistently spot-on and gets "all the eyes" no matter the color! It is comfotable, has give (but the thin-scuba like material still helps you to feel "held in") and the colors are vibrant and eye catching. It's great for work and professional events as it's a little on the long side (I'm 5'4" and it hits just at the bottom of my knees). You can wear a regular bra (a must because of the fabric), but be prepared to have the straps pulled as far to the sides of your shoulders as possible to keep from peeping out of the wide-cut neckline.

Rented for a Holiday dinner out with friends, and this dress definitely stole the night! Couldn't keep track of the compliments, and felt amazing wearing something that felt so tailored and custom made, plus was different from all the other reds and holiday looks. There is nonstretch--anywhere! It is unforgiving in the waist and on the shorter side (I'm 5'4" and it hit almost 4" above my knees standing, and even moreso sitting!) The inner hem has loosened up, so had to be pinned internally to stay in place - not a big deal. I chose a strapless nude bra for support, which still worked with how fitted the top was and the severe deep cut of the inner black bodice/lining. This dress was made to show off the "girls", so be ready! All in all, a total win!!

Second time renting these beauties!! They are heavy but to be expected for the style - they are great quality so I definitely appreciate their weight. They are beyond stunning and the only piece of jewelry you need when wearing them! Rented them this time to go with a short RTR dress covered in white and mirrored palettes and the look was stunning and absolutely perfect!! Rented this for a friend's surprise 40th that had a Winter Wonderland theme. It was a white party while the guest of honor came in black. This dress had just enough white with mirrored palettes that made it stand out from all other dresses in the room. It was definitely short, so is great if you want to show off your legs (you won't have much of a choice if you wear it, so be ready!) It is fitted in the cap sleeve, as I would've sized down to the Small if it weren't for the sleeves being much too tight at that size. The shape is a shift-style, so as you can see in this pic it isn't fitted at all in the middle. The small wasn't much better in terms of looking fitted in this area but at least would've had less extra fabric. Nevertheless, the dress was very comfortable despite the short length, and perfect for dancing the night away in! I paired it with RTR earrings and silver-sequin heels - the dress still works well with bold pieces like this but definitely no necklace or bracelets would ever be needed. A huge wow for sure and would rent again!

Rented this for my daughter to wear to her school Christmas Pageant. She was very comfortable in the dress itself (and typically hates anything that could be considered fitted or itchy--the liner of this dress prevented an issue from either of those situations happening). The length was still great considering she is broad and tall for her age (almost 5' 7" and very full bust). The color itself was stunning and friends, teachers and parents were complementing her non-stop. I've rented this dress in a different color myself and had the same experience, so the product is consistent. If you want some tummy-coverage done in an elegant way plus comfort in the chest area with a top that is fitted but has some give, and arms that aren't too tight (even at elbow length), then this is a perfect dress for you!

Got a ton of compliments on this dress all night--the color is brilliant in person and the fabric is nice and thick (brocade). I weighed a bit more than usual in this pic so my chest was probably bigger than a 38D. The cut and style is definitely not meant for someone with a fuller chest and/or wider rib cage--both of which I have. It was worth the pain of feeling squeezed though to enjoy feeling like an elegant princess in the dress itself. No bra possible but not needed thanks to the boning sewn in.

This dress was everything I'd hoped for and more! Rented it for my 40th and got non-stop compliments evening of and for literally days after! I sparkled in every pic and it held me in all the right places like wearing spanx--without the spanx! Still wore a bra but had to pin the back strap of it to the dress so it wouldn't ride up--the back is definitely low. Had to wear the XL as the material is super-fitted (see note above re: feeling like spanx) and the XL was just a little bit longer but still party-short. For an evening event, club dress, NYE party - THIS is your dress!!!

I can't say enough about this dress! Wore it to an evening dine-around at a conference held in Key West--the style was professional but brought a level of style to the look that made it stand out in the perfect way! This dress was well-constructed but light and comfortable for a full evening outside networking. The arm holes look fitted but definitely had plenty of give. The slightly higher waistline camouflages any extra tummy-pooch (which I definitely had here) without spanx. The material is thinner so I wouldn't recommend for a more formal event/cocktail evening. Perfect for something like this, day-wedding or date night! I wore with dressy flat sandals--would also look great with an open-toed heel.

Was disappointed I couldn't use this dress for a black tie wedding I'd ordered it for. I ordered 2 sizes--an 8R and 10R--my normal size is an 8. I'd read every review prior to ordering it and nothing mentioned about being a challenging fit for a fuller bust. I do have a wider rib cage with 38D bust, and there was no chance of getting myself squeezed in and zipped up. It was such a gorgeous color and the fabric was amazing, but it is a design and cut much better suited for a smaller and thinner frame/bust.

This is the second time I have used RTR and I have to say I am a huge fan! I ran into some snags initially when my original dress (this red Monique Lhullier) was unavailable at the last minute in my requested size of 10R due to a previous renter having returned it in poor condition. RTR was unable to get a hold of me to select a different dress myself, so picked a similar dress they thought I would like and shipped that instead. I contacted RTR when I discovered the shipment was on its way and advised that even though the back up they'd chosen was beautiful (a black Badgley Mishka), that I highly doubted it would fit based on my full thighs vs the description/reviews of the dress. My stylist, Zoe, was so helpful and wanted to make sure I had exactly what I needed when she heard my concern. She even helped me with additional backups just in case my back up still didn't work. She was extremely timely and responsive, and although my timeframe was dwindling down for a substitution, I had no fear I wouldn't be covered since Zoe made it clear she was doing everything she could to get the new items to me as soon as possible. One of the dresses I selected as a back up was a larger size of my original dress choice--this ML in red, but in a 12R. I was nervous that it would be much too large in the bust, even though I am a 38D, based on other reviews I had read. It was very generous in the bust once I'd received it and tried it on, but I was able to pin it just right from the inside to ensure a snug fit. I am only 5'3" and the regular length with 4 1/2 inch heels worked perfectly. The dress had so much personality! I lost track of how many compliments I received throughout the evening. The dress was comfortable and definitely enhanced when you naturally have curves--someone with an hourglass shape or pear shape would rock this look. The only con besides needing to pin it for a snug fit was the occasional feel of needing to pull it up and back into place to ensure my cleavage was never too much. Although I am not one to repeat a dress, I would definitely rent this one again, but in a 10R. It truly is stunning and very easy to wear.
