I adored this dress, and received SO MANY compliments on my look! Wore to a semi formal summer wedding at a mansion venue. Multiple people compared me to Audrey Hepburn (I think the topknot updo helped). The 6 was just a bit tight, still wearable, but the 8 fit perfectly. Great dress for curvy ladies! Fitted in the waist, then flairs out to a roomy skirt to hide hips or thighs. Plus, pockets! The material looks like a thick jacquard but is actually thin and light. I never got hot or thought the dress felt heavy. Comfortable during dinner and dancing. Would absolutely rent again!

Admittedly, I hoped to wear white for my bridal shower, but the other 2 dresses I rented didn't fit well. Luckily, this fit perfectly and I got tons of compliments! The scoop neckline was very flattering with just a hint of tasteful cleavage. Plus, pockets! The embroidery on the dress was beautiful, without feeling too heavy for summer. However, the sleeves arrived VERY scrunched up and wrinkled, but I managed to sort that out with some steaming and ironing. Overall, this was a cute, flattering, and comfortable dress true to size!

This dress fit me perfectly up top and I loved the beading, but the pleating was strange. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the pleats in the dress are sewn together right at the top of the thigh. This wasn't noticeable when standing, but when sitting caused the pleating to bulge up. It also took away from the flowly motion of the pleats when walking. I rented this as a back-up dress for my bridal shower but didn't wear it because of how weird the dress looked when sitting (since I was going to be sitting and opening presents at the party).

Overall, great dress and super flattering. Definitely va-va voom form-fitting! My usual size was too tight around the hips so I had to size up, but then the top was a bit loose. Not ideal, but it wasn't noticeable. Consistent with other reviews, the length of this dress does not work well with high heels. If you're over 5'3" and want to wear heels, I suggest getting the long version. Also of note, the tulle bottom arrives very wrinkled up. I had to steam it and use half a bottle of wrinkle release while pulling the tulle straight with my hands. It took almost an hour!
