Gorgeous dress, few accessories needed. Worn to a military ball and the color was definitely a stand out. Wish I had been able to try on the 40, but it was unavailable. Agree with other reviews, the bodice is very tight in the chest, that and a small snag in the chiffon are the only reasons this was not a 5 star. I was able to stuff myself into the 38, with good results (but after dinner I was ready to unzip). I'm 5'6" and wore 3.5 inch heels, and thought the length was fine. Definitely recommend renting, but consider getting one size up if it's available.

Had this overnighted after the dress I originally selected did not fit well at all. Dress was beautiful in person, colors as vibrant as pictured. I'm not sure that I would bother trying to iron it again, since the material wrinkles easily. Don't worry, the wrinkles don't show well because of the pleated skirt. I received many compliments throughout the night.

Tried to rent this for a wedding, and based on picture, thought it would be suitable for my body type. The top fit well, but the bottom was just odd. The material was stiff, so the skirt jutted out forming a triangle. The hem line was also odd, falling below my knee (I'm 5'6"). This may work for someone 5'9" or taller with a narrow physique. If you have any hips the bottom will probably not fall correctly.

This was perfect for a birthday celebration, night out with the girls. The material is a bit thick, so would not recommend for sweltering heat, but I felt fine on an early summer night.

I received many compliments at my office holiday party. The dress is very figure flattering without being too revealing. I'm usually a dress size 4, only a size 2 and 6 were available for rental. Good thing the dress has some stretch, so I was able to squeeze in the smaller (more fitted) size. Added my own belt as I read others had (so the mismatched larger belt that was sent was not needed).
