This purse worked perfectly with my all black jumpsuit. It was just the right pop. Got lots and lots of compliments. My favorite part was the fact that I could fit literally everything in there - wedding card, phone, chapstick, perfume mini, mirror, fashion tape, etc. The chain helped immensely towards the end of the night (note: my chain was a solid design as opposed to the photo; aka not chain-link)

Not that heavy!
Great weight, not heavy but not cheap-feeling either. My ears usually react really bad to certain metals, but they were fine with this pair - which was perfect for a formal wedding.

Definitely statement earrings
These were a little larger than I expected, but still very cool nonetheless. Although they were also heavy, it didn't hurt my ears throughout the 6+ hour event I was attending.

Didn't fit, couldn't wear :(
Rented this for a fancy dinner date, but unfortunately I couldn't wear my usual size 8. The waist was incredibly loose (by a good inch off my body) and the top was far too big for my chest. However, I will give credit to the fabric and pockets - the material would have been perfect for our chilly winter date night, and pockets on dresses are just the best. I think had I ordered a size 6 as my backup (vs. size 10), I probably could have worn it.

You can totally wear this backward
Based on a few other ladies' reviews, I decided to wear this dress backward, and it still looked awesome. I got a lot of compliments! You can pull it off too - and wear a regular bra to boot.

Adore this dress!
Badgley, you've done it again. This was a perfect style for a semi-fancy wedding of two lawyers. The sequins and drop back added just enough drama to stand-out, but the deep color and overall cut was classy and conservation for the audience + location. I got compliments all night! Although the photo doesn't show it, I paired this dress with a nu-bra, modest gold jewelry, sparkly black clutch, sheer black hosiery, and 3" black heels. Downsides - if you're like me and don't always practice perfect posture, your neck may hurt a lot the next day, as you need to keep those shoulders back to keep the sleeves up (however, I was able to dance just fine); secondly, the sequins did rub my inner-arms a bit toward the end of the night, but nothing outstanding. Would rent again nonetheless!

By far my favorite RTR rental!
LOVE this dress. It's classic, elegant, and well made. Wore for an Old Hollywood themed wedding, and it was spot on. The bride tracked me down to compliment the dress. Wow! Overall fit was good - hugged my curves in all the right places. I did wear Spanx to prevent a food baby after dinner, but I don't think they're required for this dress. The sequins pretty helpful in disguising things. I was also able to wear a regular bra. The only CON with this dress was the length. I'm 5'9" and had to wear flats in order to ensure the hemline hit the floor as it's modeled online. Not a biggie for me because comfort was key for this event, but I could see tall ladies being disappointed if they wanted to wear this dress with some cute heels. Definitely looking to rent this dress again later this year!

Stood out in the crowd!
This dress was super comfortable and the colors are eye-catching. Wore to a late spring wedding, where a lot of other women were wearing brighter colors, so the draw of this dress was the cut. Got a lot of compliments for the back and 'crop-top' cut on the top part. The length was also perfect for my 5'8.5" frame, whether I was wearing my 3" heels or going barefoot on the dance floor. You do have to hike it up when walking up & down stairs. My only reason for not giving full stars was the sizing & neck fastener. Although I usually wear an 8, this was just slightly bigger than I expected, so it loose in some parts like the low back (if I stood up straight, you could see down the back of the dress a little more than I liked). Spanx are a must, as underwear lines will be visible. Like some of the other ladies reviewed, the fastener at the neck came undone a few times while I was dancing, but that was waaaaay into the evening and I made a cool dance move out of re-hooking it.

I was looking for something to class up my bright dress, and this fit the bill. Fit my phone, a few cards, lip gloss, and small barber's comb. The purse came with a short chain for shouldering, but I didn't use it. Would rent again!

Great color combo in a single accessory!
These earrings were the perfect addition to my outfit - I was able to match both my purse and ring selection seamlessly after spotting these on RTR. They were a tad larger than expected, but it didn't change the weight in my opinion. Able to wear all night without a problem (and I usually have sensitive ears). The design, color, and feel definitely give off a funky yet regal impression. Would rent again!

My first VW rental, and it fit like a glove in the size 8. Beautiful color, perfect amount of stretch for dancing, and got plenty of compliments. My only reason for not giving it five stars is that the dress arrived with a slight snag in the lace - the hole wasn't noticeable unless you're looking for it (which I always end up doing with lace). Otherwise, a great rental!

Colorful pop for a spring wedding
Loved this dress! The lace detail made it elegant and the color was fun after a long winter. Although I listed it as fitting true to size, I honestly could have gone one size smaller - from renting an 8 and a 10, I ended up wearing the 8 but definitely could have fit into a 6. The extra room wasn't really noticeable except when I was dancing or moving around too much, then the sweetheart neckline would start sliding down and my bra would show a little. Otherwise, it was incredibly comfortable to wear. I do suggest wearing a strapless or skin-toned bra to blend seamlessly with the lace top.

Perfect transition from work day to date night
This was one of the backup styles sent when my original pick was unavailable. First impression of this dress was skepticism...the color was nice, but crocheted jersey? On an A-line cut? Well sometimes you just have to put on the damn dress to find out. It was not only flattering to my figure, but SO comfortable. I was able to wear it to work with a black blazer, tights, and booties - then out for a moderately fancy dinner date. Received a lot of compliments throughout the evening, and felt a rock star! Great design, strange fit
This was one of the backup styles sent when my original pick was unavailable. At first, I loved the design and the sturdiness of the neoprene material. But after trying on both the S and M sizes, neither fit well. The Small was TIGHT, and the Medium was only slightly more comfortable. However, the material bunched up around the waist and the dress didn't fall right on my figure. Too bad because the design really is great - the blue is more subtle in person than on the model photo, and the zippers are sexy & fun.

Really wanted...didn't get :(
I originally ordered this dress for an important date, but unfortunately I never received it. Apparently the dress was damaged beyond repair, and the automated email to notify me of the change didn't go out. So when I didn't pick a new dress, a RTR stylist picked two new backup styles for me to try...which I only knew about once they showed up in the mail! This story has a happy ending though - RTR's Customer Service Dept was awesome. This team gets that no matter the occasion, what you're wearing is just as important to them as it is to you. I was helped immediately (despite their phones being down at the time), got an explanation on the miscommunication, and luckily one of the backup styles was a perfect fit. Thanks RTR! Hopefully I'll get to try this style in the future :)

Stunning cocktail dress for black-tie wedding
Rented this dress for a very formal wedding - my boyfriend was a groomsman and had to wear a tux, so I knew I needed to step up my game. Couldn't have been happier with my choice! The green jacquard print was even more vibrant in person, and I didn't need to wear too much jewelry as a result. The fabric was stretchy enough that I could dance in it, but firm enough that not every bump was accentuated. Originally I ordered a size 6 and 8, but went with the larger size so I could feel comfortable while snacking at the reception (although the top part of the 8 was slightly looser than the 6). When the night was through, I had received so many compliments that I almost considered buying the thing!

Received as a Stylist Surprise
This was the bracelet I received when I opted to pay an extra $15 for a surprise mystery gift selected by RTR stylists to go with my existing order. I was renting the Green Illusionist Sheath, and on the fence about whether to go with gold or silver accent jewelry. Since I hadn't bought anything by the time I got the offer, I went with it! So glad I did, because the bracelet was a beautiful - it looked expensive and elegant. A little heavier than I expected, but not so much that you'd be noticing it all night. Only experienced minor pinching that goes along with an elastic band. It perfect pair to a black & silver clutch I already owned. I'd love to get it again, or maybe even the gold design it comes in!
