Unique option for work
I wanted something elevated and creative for a company video shoot, and this felt like a great look for me as a brand/creative manager. Ultimately, I went with something from my own closet instead — Elle Woods moment, stuck to my signature color instead. It was cute and professional with just a little bit of edgy flair. The fabric was thicker than I expected and not very soft but also not scratchy.

Gorgeous color, forgiving silhouette
Another backup dress coming through clutch for a big event! This vibrant dress is incredibly comfortable, and the bow detail helps distract from a few extra lbs. The slit was too high for my Spanx shorts so I went without them and still felt great. Highly recommended style!

This dress was Plan A for a formal industry awards banquet, but unfortunately I couldn’t wear either size I received since the dress ran so small I couldn’t move my legs in the dress. The design is beautiful and would have been a very chic and flattering moment if the sizing had been better. If you’re a small-medium with skinny thighs, this will work great for you. If you’re a medium-large whose thighs or hips are on the thicker side, keep shopping.

Disco fiesta is good for shorter torsos
I needed a last-minute backup for an awards ceremony when my Plan A dress fell through, and this disco fiesta was one of my picks. Unfortunately, my torso is too long and it was cameltoe city. I also didn't like the sound of my thighs rubbing together with the sequins. So, this one's for the short-torso bowl-legged ladies with skinny thighs! It's super cute and festive, just not right for me.

Nonstop compliments, walking disco ball!
This dress was a backup option offered by the stellar RTR customer service team after my backup size of another style was unavailable. Thankfully, this sexy little number came through when nothing else fit. It was a little more cleavage than I'd like for a work event, even with a safety pin, but it made me feel like a million bucks. I got compliments all night and was actually quite comfortable in it. It's bra-friendly and I was able to sneak my Thigh Society shorts underneath to avoid chafing.

Fit 3 Sizes Too Small
This dress was Plan A for a formal company awards banquet, but I didn't end up wearing it. My backup size wasn't available and I've been oscillating between 8 & 10s in most clothing lately, but I held out hope that the size 8 + some Spanx would allow me to live out my Elle Woods dreams for the event. I couldn't even zip it up to my hip. It fit like a size 2. SIZE UP! Color was beautiful, dress was cute (and heavy!), but it was tiny.

Cute but weird slit
This was a cute option for the awards gala I attended. Fit was good, a little snug since I am between sizes but wearable-ish. I opted for my backup dress because this was tight and because the slit design showed off a lot of the backing/lining along the slit. It needed hem tape or something to make a nice, clean sequin edge. Probably just an issue with my specific rental and/or size. I'd rent again if I dropped a little weight.

Vivid splash of color, perfect for a Mexican fiesta
These earrings are a vibrant magenta with a neutral gold accent/rim. I wore them to brighten up a black romper on a sunset boat cruise (and plenty of other activities before, during, and after my Mexico trip). These earrings are the perfect weight to wear all day and the perfect color to get you noticed.

This dress did the one thing a dress should do: made me feel pretty
I've been drooling over this one for months and finally had an occasion worthy of it... With the mixed reviews on sizing I was anxious to receive the dresses in my usual 8 and backup 10. I tried the 8 first and it was immediately clear that the top was too big for my 36Cs. No need to try the 10. I added a little extra padding from a swimsuit top to help the dress sit better on my frame. It improved it, but it wasn't the snug shapely fit I'd envisioned. Nevertheless, I wore the dress, gaps and all. The material is a thick, lined satin, so it's best for springtime or those occasions when dancing your butt off isn't on the agenda (engagement photos? corporate event? bridal shower?) as it did get a bit hot. I loved tucking things away in the large pockets and having an easy time with undergarments since a strapless worked fine and the dress isn't sheer enough to reveal your underwear choice. This dress is pretty, chic, and great for twirling. The colors are also more saturated than the photos, which I loved. I accessorized with Kendra Scott chalcedony earrings to draw out the aqua tones, a purple purse, and pale gold heels by BCBG.

Fun. Comfortable. Perfect for nearly every occasion.
I rented this for an event that didn't end up happening, so I wore it to a casual birthday dinner instead. I dressed it down with sandals and minimal jewelry to adjust for the setting (hibachi!), and loved the fit and comfort of this dress. The color was beautiful, though slightly more green than shown in the model photos. It's swirly and girlie and an absolute winner for just about any event. I would gladly rent it again, though I'd probably go down a size to have it fit "the girls" better. This one is perfect for the curvy girls, but probably too long for girls who are closer to 5' and too roomy in the bust for A cups.

Stunning
This dress solicited compliments from wedding guests of all ages. It's classic, elegant, and flattering. The fit on the thighs was a bit snug for dancing since there's no slit. The top/collarbone area was a bit loose and the lining around the bust was lower cut than expected, occasionally exposing the top of my strapless bra. I had planned to wear Spanx to tighten everything, but the dress created a nice shape on its own without the extra warmth of shapewear. I reserved both the 8 and 6, and although both fit, I chose the 8 because of its thigh room. I should note the looseness of the top wasn't lessened at all when I went down a size. These critiques, however, are negligible because the overall look was fantastic and the dress achieved the desired effect of making me feel pretty. And isn't that the point? I absolutely recommend this dress and would gladly rent it again.

Simple & Beautiful
I requested these earrings when my original choice arrived broken and there were no replacements available in the same style. While I was disappointed not to have a pop of color, these were a great neutral gold tone that worked well with my overall look. They were a bit larger than I expected, but they weren't overwhelming or heavy. The customer service was great since these had to be shipped overnight and arrived before I needed to leave for my trip. These were winners.

Not flattering.
I had high hopes when I rented this for my birthday brunch. The lining on the dress I got was a bit worn and the overall fit just wasn't flattering. The straight neckline made my shoulders look broad and the slim fit made my stomach and thighs look big. The color was festive and sunny, but it was not flattering against my pale, blue/pink-toned complexion. If you have a dark complexion and a straight body type in a size 2, this will be great for you. It just wasn't great for me. I was glad it was free.

Would have been perfect if not broken
These earrings are a beautiful soft mint color with a nice gold metal tone. They are a just-right size and would look great with a number of dresses and outfits. That said, one of mine arrived in two pieces. The delicate construction snapped and it couldn't be repaired. The quality, then, probably isn't great but if you can get a pair that's sturdier, they're lovely! I ended up receiving a last-minute backup from RTR instead.

Great bachelorette party option
I wear an 8 almost exclusively, so I ordered the 8 with a 6 as my backup. The 8 was boxy and less flattering and the 6 fit fine, so I opted to wear the backup instead. There is a built-in strap with a closure that would be nearly impossible to unhook and re-hook throughout the night, so I just left it loose. The scalloped lace makes the romper look dressier, but it could really work for casual to cocktail events. I liked that it wasn't super short like many rompers are. Overall, it was a good experience and cute look.
