I'd say that this dress was mediocre. The color was beautiful, and though I still received quite a few compliments, I just wasn't crazy over the dress. The v-neck was tacked at the top, but then the rest of it was loose, so although the top stayed together, I still felt as though I needed to wear a white tank top underneath it to avoid any accidental exposure. The hem of the dress had wrap-dress feel to it, so when I sat down I had to be a little careful that I wasn't showing off more than I had intended. Overall, the dress still served its purpose, and it was certainly nicer than anything that I had existing in my closet :)

The color was beautiful (it was more of a magenta-purple than the fuscia-berry that I thought it might be), and the style of it was very standout, however, it fit my body very strange. The material is bunched up a bit on the size and so the whole dress just kind of fit me crooked. The material didn't have much give to it either, so when I was "practicing" sitting and standing as I would be if I wore this dress to my bridal shower, I realized there was just no way that I could make it work. It was way too tight in my hips, and a little big up top. Perhaps I would have been more comfortable in a larger size, but then I think the top would have just been too large. One more note was that the slit in the back went down rather low. I'm not sure that you could get away with a regular strapless bra.

I ordered this as a backup dress for my bridal shower and only the Size 6 was available. I never in a million years thought it would actually fit, let alone look good on me. As soon as I put the dress on I was shocked at just how comfortable it really was. It fit beautifully! It was fitted in the right areas and flared in the others. I didn't think the cut of the arms would look good on me since I have rather broad shoulders and large arms, however, it seemed to work out well. I felt beautiful, I was comfortable sitting, standing, and bending over (opening gifts, etc.), and I got about a million compliments on the dress. I would absolutely rent this one again.

The colors were pretty, but the dress had very little stretch and was rather short. I think the colors and stripes actually accentuated my tummy. Not flattering on me at all. I did take pictures of me in it anyway, but they were so very unflattering that I couldn't even bear to post them for others to see :)

The color was really nice, as was the length. However, the boatneck and cap sleeves made it very difficult for me to keep the dress on properly. I had originally ordered an 8, but when a previous renter hadn't returned it in time, RTR sent me the 10 in hopes that it might work out since the dress really didn't have any stretch to it (VERY true). So, it's possible that maybe the dress was just a little to big. It just wasn't the dress for me.

This was one of a few dresses that I rented as a potential for my bridal shower. It actually was the one I was the most excited to try on, but I ended up feeling a little let down. Although the dress was pretty, it wasn't very flattering. The color is more of a grayish (which I saw in the other reviews, but I guess I thought it would be more silvery). Think white dress that got mixed up with some black clothing in the wash. I loved the bust detail, but it was as if it just didn't cinch well enough to show the difference between where my bust ended and my waist began. That being said, it was still a very pretty dress. It felt like really high quality and the lace overlay was really quite beautiful. I probably would have ended up wearing it anyway if I hadn't just ended up liking one of the other dresses better.

Okay, so, this was my first choice dress, however, when I went to go rent it they didn't have my size. I'm normally an 8, but since they had a 6 I decided to rent a different dress as my Primary (get the 2 size options), and this was m backup. Well, much to my surprise, I put this on and it fit! In my experience Nanette Lepore tends to run a little big anyway, so I completely lucked out! It was a little snug in the bust, but honestly, I wore it for a solid 9 hours or so and was very comfortable. Two quick notes - the color is a bit greener than it appears in the picture (I thought it would be more of a teal), and you should wear a nude bra. Although there is a liner I found that it would shift over the course of the evening and expose my (black) bra. Not a huge deal, but it drove me crazy to keep pulling at the lining to cover myself up.

I rented this dress to wear to a brunch with my bridesmaids and then to a Jack & Jill party immediately afterwards. I wanted something that was appropriate enough for both occasions, and so when I found this dress, I was really excited to wear it. The material was actually much different than I expected. I thought it would be a bit soft and flowy, but it was more of a stiff, heavy feel without much stretch. i couldn't pull the sleeves up as high as they were on the model. The pockets were nice, but because the material was already kind of bulky, I did feel like the added pockets drew a bit of attention to my already wide-enough hips. The back was nice, and added a bit of sexiness to the dress. I did use a little fashion tape to keep it from gaping too much, but I probably would've been fine without it. Standing up, the dress fit great, but sitting down, it did ride up a bit and made it rather short. I was very careful when I bent over to not give everyone a show. I paired the dress with some brown heels and pearl earrings. Overall, the dress was perfect for what I needed. I got tons of compliments, and felt fairly comfortable wearing it for 10 hours of the day :)

I'm a huge fan of Nanette Lepore and rented this dress for a surprise party with a "summertime" theme. The colors are very vibrant, and definitely different from anything else that I've ever worn. It was a little snug in the chest. I'd imagine if your bust was on the larger side, this could be a difficult fit. Even though the top of the dress seemed to dip down a bit (it showed off some cleavage and I don't have a very big chest), everything felt very secure as the extra rubber strap inside of the dress made it fit pretty snug. Although the colors and design were very summery, the material was actually fairly heavy. I was comfortable wearing it on a chilly day in March with a heavy cardigan over it (I even took the cardigan off once I was in the warm house). It was a unique dress, and certainly pretty as I think most Nanette Lepore dresses are, but it just wasn't flattering enough on me that I would rent it again.

This was my first time renting any kind of jewelry and got these as part of a Mystery Bling order for a dress that I wore on Thanksgiving. They were quite pretty and much lighter than I anticipated. Up close I thought that they looked a little cheap, but from afar, they were quite beautiful.

As soon as I pulled this dress out from the RTR bag I was in love. The color is just gorgeous. I rented it to wear to Thanksgiving festivities, and not only did I feel phenomenal, but it was super comfy and allowed me to eat a normal Thanksgiving Day meal without feeling like the dress was squeezing me in. The belt created a very pretty natural waist line. Although the dress appears to be a lacy material, it was super-soft and comfortable.

The color and fabric of this dress was just fantastic. It was super comfortable and I was able to dress it up quite nicely to go to my fiance's company Christmas party. I got tons of compliments. The top of the dress has rubber edging to keep it in place. I never had to worry about it slipping. The rouching would flatter any bust size. No cons that I can think of. I would definitely rent it again.

I loved the color of this dress, however, when I took it out of the RTR bag, I noticed a lot of stray threads on the inside of the dress, and a rip at the seam of the bust. It was my backup dress for the rehearsal dinner. I ended up loving the original dress that I had ordered anyway, so it wasn't a huge deal, but I never would have worn it to the rehearsal dinner in the condition that it was in. (**Note: When I wrote to RTR to let them know about the condition, they responded immediately, and I was incredibly happy with the service). All of that being said, the dress was so pretty, I hated to NOT wear it, so I decided to wear it to the brunch the day after the wedding. Everyone was so bleary-eyed at that point that no one noticed the tear anyway :) It was ultra-comfy, though the fabric was a bit heavy, and a number of people commented that the color looked nice on me. I would love to rent it again for another occasion where I could show it off for more than an hour. I wore this to my best friend's rehearsal dinner the night before her wedding (I was a bridesmaid). I received compliments all night long, and people kept mentioning how great the colors looked on me. I felt beautiful in the dress, and was very comfy. There were ruffles in all the right places, so I didn't feel like I needed to suck anything in while pictures were being taken or anything. Working the belt was a little tricky, but once I figured it out, it was fine. There were also a number of tiny snap-buttons and loop-and-hooks that you could attach to create more coverage (such as at the cleavage), or a little more room (at the waist). It was a cute, versatile dress in a beautiful fabric, that I could wear normal undergarments for. I'm sold! PROS: Beautiful, Comfy, Unique CONS: Tricky Belt, Wrinkles Easily (I had to steam it after I received it from RTR)

This dress was my first pick, but the largest size available was an 8 (I'm usually closer to a 12). Looking at the reviews, many people said that the dress ran large, so I decided to try the 8 anyway, and then got a backup dress in 2 sizes figuring I'd likely end up wearing one of those. Well, neither of the "backup" dresses fit, but this did -- beautifully! The material is stretchy with extra material to cover problem areas, such as a tummy pooch. It was amazingly comfortable. I wore it out dancing for a bachelorette party, and I got compliments all night long. Because the dress was so flowy, there were a few pictures that did not come out super flattering because of the way the material hung - it made me look larger than I actually was, however straight-on photos came out pretty well. I would rent it again. I felt beautiful, I was comfortable, and for better or worse -- I was wearing a dress that was 2 sizes smaller than I would typically wear. I'll take it!

I'm really bummed that this dress didn't work out for me. The first thing I noticed when I took the dress out of the bag was how gorgeous the color was. The material was heavy and it felt like really good quality. I got both the Medium and the Large. Medium fit up top, but the Large was a bit baggy. Unfortunately, it didn't really matter as I couldn't zip either of them all the way. I guess maybe this designer just isn't for me. Beautiful dress though!

I rented this dress for a daytime event, and then wore it again for an anniversary dinner. The color was gorgeous, and I received lots of compliments. However, it wasn't an actual "wrap dress" as it is called in the description. It's a v-neck dress with a ruffle and belt tie that give the illusion of a "wrap" (this was mentioned in a previous review as well). As is typical for dresses on me, it was a little larger on top, and a bit tighter around my hips, so I had to pull the dress up a little bit before sitting in my low-to-the-ground car. Other than that, I didn't feel the need for any fashion tape or other adjustments. Overall, I loved the dress, and felt beautiful wearing it.

The dress itself was beautiful! The fabric was soft, and the quality was amazing. My problem was that I probably should have sized up on this rather than down. I went with a Size 8 and a Size 10. The Size 10 was a little big on top, but too tight in the hips and thighs. I probably COULD have gotten away with wearing it anyway, but I didn't like the way that the material was bunching up because of the fit everywhere else. I never even tried on the 8. I blame myself, not the dress :) I may try it again in the larger size in the future.
