I was unsure of which length to order, but I knew I'd rather err on the side of a bit too long than too short since this style looks best when the hemline skims the floor. I'm 5'4", so I've never in my life needed to get anything marked "Long" but based on other reviews and the fact that I was planning to wear 4 inch heels I opted for the Long version, which worked out perfectly. It ended up being perhaps a half inch too long, but not so much that I was tripping on the dress. The waistline could have been a bit more snug, but overall the fit was great. The plunging neckline under the mesh overlay was very flattering without being too revealing and the green color looked great in photos. The sequins at the armholes were a bit uncomfortable, but not nearly as bad as the other dress I ordered - the Badgley Mischka Midnight Swirl Gown. I was able to wear a black bra with straps - the straps barely showed under the mesh overlay, and just looked like part of the black dress underneath.
