I'm typically between a small and a medium but skew small for dresses. I ended up wearing the medium because I couldn't breathe in the small (probably all the quarantine snacks)! But the medium was very comfortable. I was worried the length would be awkward or too long but I'm very happy with it! The dress has a lovely weight to it that makes for really beautiful movement. I wore it for my engagement pictures because I expected it to be windy and wanted movement without something that would blow away (like chiffon or organza). The lining is silky so it's pleasant to wear! Only thing that was awkward was the bust. I generally like to go braless when possible, and the bust of the dress has boning to allow you to do so, but unless you have the girls positioned *just right* they can sometimes look a little pointy. Just a minor thing, not a deal breaker. I was also worried about the yellow color, as I'm very pale w pink tones and yellows don't usually flatter me, but I loved this dress on me! It's not as deep as a mustard yellow but it's not as bright as a sunshine yellow. Perfect for giving a splash of color without overwhelming. I would absolutely rent this dress again for any event! It can be easily dressed up or down.

The dress is tight but runs true to size. Not a lot of stretch to it, but I didn't end up minding. The length was perfect; the dress didn't drag on the floor but hit a nice length when I was wearing 4 inch heels. The color is definitely cobalt, not navy. I was concerned at first, but it's actually a beautiful color.
