Never been happier to get a replacement!
I had been dreaming of renting this dress, and it came as my replacement! It was darker than I expected (I actually thought it was black when I opened it). I usually wear 0 but it would not fit around m waist- very, very, fitted. I went up to a 2. The skirt was long on me and was like a pencil skirt so it was tight to walk in, but I didn't think taping it up looked right. I also didn't need to wear a bra!

My husband loved the pattern!
I did not wear this since I had a replacement sent- but I tried the 0 that came. Despite finding reviewers who had my exact measurements- i'm glad I had a back up. The cap sleeves fit awkwardly, and the back didn't lay flat. It also kept creeping up my butt as I walked- it was very tight on my butt and I don't consider myself as having large hips. Lastly, every time I moved my arms up the dress moved up. Basically there was a lot readjusting when I walked, moved, breathed. It would not have worked.

Best Back Up Ever!
This came as my replacement and I loved it more than my original purchase. It had pockets, twirled when I spun, and had a beautiful pattern. It was on the heavier side so I would not recommend it in warmer weather, also recommend sizing up if you'd like more room in the waist. the 2 fit in my waist and gave more room for sitting and eating, but was larger on top and didn't look as good.

Flowy and fun
I usually wear 0 but went with the 2 for comfort. After wearing the 0 for 20 mins around the house it was tight in my waist (27in). Knowing I was sitting at a bridal party for lunch I went with the 2. As you can see the 0 (top) and the 2 ( bottom) really didn't show much difference on pictures

Beautiful for a shower
Fit like a glove and so light weight. The split in the front made it easier to sit down without having to adjust the dress a lot. As with most dresses, there it is fitted at the waist and was a bit tight after eating, but nothing unbearable. I would only size up if you wanted more room in the midsection. Ps my friend in yellow is also wearing RTR!

Beautiful dress
The fabric was heavy, but the design was unique and beautiful. As many of he reviewers said, the zipper kept sliding down an inch. No big deal for me, just annoying

See through lace gave just a hint of sexiness
I'm still adjusting to my post par tum body, but I did feel this was smaller than most dresses. I took extra measurements in the areas it was tight- neck (13 inches) waist (28 inches) hips (36 inches). I don't think sizing up would have helped me because it would have been too loose in the top and length, but I say size up as back up. Also, I felt the slip underneath was REALLY SHORT when I sat.

Just felt sexy!
I've worn Herve before so I expected the fit to be tight. My only issue were the straps. Perhaps my petitie stature was part of it, but the S straps were literally a whole inch longer than the XS. I had to use a lot of tape to keep the dress from falling down. The XS straps would have been a better length, but it didn't fit as well as the S.

4 weeks post partum and worry free!
****Post pregnancy size- approx a 4; 115lbs; 34D bust **** short story- 2 fit without a bra; slightly shorter than the 4. Ended up wearing the 4 so I could eat and wear a bra. I knew I would have a wedding shortly after giving birth, but I chose to rent because of their customer service. As it turns out, the sizes I ordered did not fit, (it was hard to judge what my "true" size was now) and as expected I was over nighted the same dress in a size up. I received a lot of compliments on how I looked, but honestly the best part was knowing I could look good 4 week after giving birth without having to worry.

The color made me stand out
Tight in the arms so I had to go with the 2. This made the top slightly baggy but you couldn't tell And I have a petite stature so it was bound to happen anyways. I was worried about the no bra aspect but it was very comfortable the whole night and I never worried about it.

Strangers ask where I got the dress!
Light, flowy, and has character. Armhole were slightly big on me and it's a peeve of mine when my bra shows- but tape helped. It was a great summer dress that I used for my B'day (free rental!) Great dress overall.

Customer Service at its finest
RTR contacted me to say my backup size was no longer available for my rental so they would send an entirely different dress in addition to the one I ordered. I requested RTR send one of their choosing since I couldn't find one available. Thanks Alex L.!!! Pros: great color, style, it has pockets! Cons: it seemed everything was for petite women (length and waist) except for the top. It is slightly large and makes very deep v-neck. I used tape just so my bra wouldn't show and it was fine. Waist has no give I had to give a 3 because I couldn't make it through dinner (2 hours) without unzipping the dress. The waist had no give and was extremely tight on my stomach (2 wasn't any different). I couldn't lift up the dress because it was already short when I sat so the waistline sat right at the bottom of my rib cage the whole night. I've rented Shoshanna before but I would not get this particular dress again.

I can say I've worn Herve Leger!
Body glove- literally. I did not have the S available as my backup, but I was confident the XS would be fine based on reviews. I almost returned it because I was not used to a dress being so tight. But I wore it the day before, got used to it and the day of the wedding it was fine. Definitely need spanxs- I had waist high ones, and even the top part of the spanxs where it cinched my waist was noticeable (to me at least) I also wore a strapless bra, didn't really notice the outline too much. Definitely noticed the top was bigger than the rest, but I think that is due in part to my petite stature and my shorter torso. Not even a problem for me though. I gave 4 stars because I felt it was tighter than a usual XS would have been on me- my husband had to help with the zipper, it was really tight. I would have liked to compare it with the S. This is the reason I love RTR. I can wear dresses I would have never bought in the store without having to pay an outrageous price. I have never worn this color dress before and I would never have been able to afford Herve. Thanks RTR!

I was told I looked Couture!
Beautiful, fun, and unique. This dress had me send out 5 invites for RTR. This dress fit like a glove- waist hits at the bottom of the rib cage. The only recommendation is not to wear it outdoors. The skirt is very light and catches the wind very easily. P.S the dress isn't as "puffy" if you just pat it down a bit with your fingers.

Tulle was missing in the size 4 dress and was also in horrible condition. Ended up wearing the 2, it was tight in the hips, but I was able to wear it. RTR was exceptional and refunded my purchase for the quality of the 4.

Just the right amount of wow!
This was my backup dress and luckily the 0 fit me perfect. It is very fitted in the waist and after sitting through dinner and eating it was more noticeable to me. My only regret was using this dress for a dinner party because the back it where it's at. The waterfall accent was beautiful. I almost wish his came in another color to make it more wow! Con- was a little long in torso so my bra showed just a bit where the zipper ended, and the top of my bra showed in front. Not at all noticeable with a black bra (i'm also very short). As someone else reviewed the back being loose between the zipper and button, yes it was, but does not effect the dress at all.

Not what it seems
Very restricting, and not at all flexible overlay. RTR was very helpful in getting my another dress for NYE, but this dress is not what I expected. The top overlay seemed like an over starched potato sack. It didn't lay right in either the XS or S, and kept catching on the blue slip.

My Husband said how great I looked!
quick review: HAVE TO USE SPANX OR GO COMMANDO. Very form fitted, strapless bra better, did have to pull down several times during the night but I think I was worried my spanx would show. I just got home from an Italian vacation and the pasta did not make me feel great but the curves of the dress made me feel better. The sheer top also added a nice little touch. I was deciding between the 0 and 2. The 2 definitely gave me more room in the waist and hips but, the sheer top was very loose. The 0 was also a bit loose but not really noticeable. I put up my embarrassing picture to show you what "seamless underwear" looks like in this dress. HAVE TO USE SPANX OR GO COMMANDO. I had to go out and buy spanx that day, luckily found some, but the dress was long enough to go commando. (I just wasn't brave enough too) Also tried the clear straps as another customer did, but you can see the reflection and it takes away from the beauty of the dress- go with a strapless nude (notice the side pic I put up) I had a black one but the arm holes were slightly larger than I usually wear and you could see the top of the bra.
