Not great for pear shapes
These DVF wrap dresses don't have enough material to wrap around wider hips.

This dress has great shape, and fits beautifully. The structured, fitted waist is especially flattering for pear shapes -- sophisticated but not at all dowdy! Expect to steam/iron the dress a bit when it arrives (the material wrinkles easily, but this is easily addressed). Overall, a great quality, classic dress -- you can't go wrong!

Material was thick and beautiful. Perfect for the classic pear shape. I am 34-27-38 with a long torso and this for great. Did have to pin the straps though.

I ha hoped to make this dress work, but the reviews are right -- you need to size down !!! I am 34-27-38 and was swimming in the size 4. Gorgeous dress, though.
