Flattering and comfortable
This one was a winner for me. Wore to a cowboy themed part with high brown boots and a cowboy hat. Print was great for fall/winter and the style was flattering but still comfortable to wear all day. Recommend, esp for petites

Overwhelmed by the sleeves
Thought this would be cute to wear to a casual affair in the middle of the day. The sleeves are voluminous up near the shoulders and I looked ridiculous. Did not wear.

Very fitted
I am a 0/2 and based on the reviews I went with a small thinking this would be a comfy, flattering sweater dress and wouldn't be too tight. Did not work. The fabric is thick but not enough stretch and not forgiving at all in the midsection even going up a size. You have to have a very flat stomach or not care!

Print is so cool but very wide in the hips
Should have followed the other reviews and skipped this one. I am a straight body type and this fit so well up top but it was very wide in the hips. Would work much better on a pear shape. The fabric is very cool.

Buttons do not lie flat
I'm always on the lookout for more modest dresses but this one was a fail. The placement of the buttons caused huge gaps on my torso and waist. It was unwearable.

Sweater was warm and comfortable, not itchy, and the colors were a bit different and fun. Took off one star because it was very cropped and I am only 5'1". Not sure what size the model bumped up to but it is cropped in my regular size.

Tight in the torso and zipper closure is funny
Every Farm Rio item I've ever ordered runs large - except for this one. It was very tight in the torso and as a result the whole dress did not lay properly. It's hard to tell from the model, but the dress zips up the front. In theory you can control how open to make the neck but I found it looked weird no matter where I opened it to, unless it was closed all the way. Disappointing. Did not wear.

Great chance to wear the bear sweater
I love the Polo bear sweaters but can't bring myself to splurge on one. This was the perfect opportunity to wear one. Well constructed, comfortable knit. I am an XS and went with the S for a slightly looser fit. Either would have worked fine. Great for thanksgiving dinner.

Fun, great print for holiday paries
Wore this to my office holiday party. Print was vibrant and I loved how it was comfortable yet flattering to wear for many hours. Style is class flowy Kate Spade so if you like her dresses, you will love this one. It is a bit short. I am 5'1" and it was several inches above my knees. But looked great with black tights and suede heels. Highly recommend.

Got tons of compliments on this one. Fun print and the sparkly waistband is a cute touch. Lightweight but not see through. Comfortable to wear all day. I wore it with a black shirt tucked in so you could see the waistband. Highly recommend.

Absolutely Gorgeous
If only it weren't so expensive I'd buy it. This dress is amazing. The print, the fabric, the fit is so flattering on a petite figure. I got so many compliments. Only suggestion is if you have a straight figure like me, you might go up a size. The waist is set in and has no give so it was tight but manageable.

Very flattering
I was a little nervous about this one because of the comments that it looks witchy but I actually really liked. The smocked bodice helps suck everything and makes it very flattering. The print is actually birds and while I get the witch idea because of the color scheme, I didn't find it overwhelming. Got lots of compliments.

Not flattering and uncomfortable
Love La Double J but this one is a big miss. The top is just a blue sweatshirt but as others have said it's uncomfortable - the neck is crazy tight, the material isn't soft and the bottom seam of the sweatshirt is very bulky so it doesn't lay properly. Did not wear.

Rented and wore this to work. Fabric is comfortable and it's a cute preppy vibe. But overall not special. Might work better if you are long waisted or taller as the hook to close it hit very low on me, which was weird.

Amazing skirt. Runs a bit big.
I wear an XS but have a straight figure so I'm always nervous to go with an XS in a skirt with no stretch. I would say size down in this one though as it was quite big in the waist. I wore it anyway a little low slung. The fabric and pattern are spectacular so highly recommend this as a rental, particularly for a fancy event.

Got tons of compliments on this one. It fits great thanks to the seaming and the elastic waist in the back. Note that pattern is actually black and purple and green - not so visible from the picture. I did wear a cami bra underneath as on me the v neck was very low. This was a winner.

Gorgeous dress. Fancier than expected
You could definitely wear this to a wedding or other party. It fits beautifully and feels so expensive (which it is). I always size up one in Saloni and that worked here as well. Warning that there is a pretty high slit off center on one side, which I did not notice in the pictures. I did not think a belt was needed as it has a set in waist. This one was a winner.

Fun pattern and comfortable
As others reviewed, this is very lightweight so perfect for hot climates. Great, vibrant print and the drawstrings means you can adjust for your comfort. I did unbutton the cuffs, which were weirdly tight, but did not affect the look of the dress.

Nice dress but getting outdated
Rented this for a luncheon. I am 5'1" and a 0/2. Usually size up in Shoshanna but followed other reviewers and went with the zero. That was a good call as this one runs bigger than usual for the brand. The neck was very low on me, which is a frequent issue so I wore a cami bra and it was fine. Dress fit nicely and I got compliments but I can't help feeling it's already a bit "three seasons ago" with the high low hemline and the flared sleeves.

Should have gone with the XXS but in the new RTR world, I am always scared that something will be too small and I'll be stuck with it. It's a nice basic dress that I dressed up with a long necklace and flats for a brunch. I am 5'1" and wear a 0/2. The XS was okay but it was a bit long and just a bit big overall. As other reviewers noted, it's an odd piece to drop in the summer because it is quite warm - better for fall and size down.

Such a disappointment
I waited forever to rent this and used up a swap when it became available. I felt ridiculous in it. Like a doll in a bad way. The sleeves are huge - and the square neckline is much more prominent in person. Petites beware. Sent this right back without wearing. What a waste.

Great for petites!
So happy a summer maxi finally became available. This worked great on my petite frame as the band across the top wasn't too tight and it was a true maxi (not that weird above the ankle length on the model). It was super lightweight and I got lots of compliments. Did not love the shoulder ties. They didn't add anything to the design of the dress and were just kind of annoying by the end of the day as I had to keep retying them. The dress with regular straps would have been perfect.

Another Shoshanna Success
RTR better start adding more Shoshanna. it's one of their best brands. I am 5'1" and a 0/2. I find Shoshanna runs small so always go up to an S. This one was perfect as usual. Neckline was different and not too low on my petite frame. Material was thick but not hot and the flared skirt gave me curves I don't have. Definitely recommend.

Weirdly unflattering
Should have listened to the reviews but the print seems so nice and there just aren't enough dresses with sleeves available to rent these days. I am 5'1" and straight. It fit okay but the panel in the front did nothing for me in terms of adding curves. it felt frumpy and just blah. My daughter, who is much curvier than me, tried it and it made her look too busty. So no idea who this one would be good for. Sent it back without wearing.

Love this brand!
So glad I discovered this brand through RTR. Another great rental. LIghtweight and comfortable - perfect for summer. Great petite fit in terms of waist placement (which means it may be off on someone who is long waisted or much taller). Elastic waist was defining but not constricting. I did wear a cami bra underneath because I don't like low v necks. A winner.
