Perfect for a 30th birthday party for a good friend. Having just come back from India, this dress had a great flair to the top of it that made it unique. The slits in the bottom of the dress were pretty high -- they came up to mid thigh, but unless you were walking, they did not make the dress look risqué. The dress was flowy and not tight, but only very slightly negative thing about this dress was that the lines that run down the middle of the dress slightly enhanced any type of tummy you had. This was minimal and i'm still glad I rented this dress!

Wore this to my brother in law's rehearsal dinner in January. Very beautiful color combination with the light purple sheath underneath (which doesn't get captured very well by camera). Was a tad on the short side for me as I am 5'9, and the slit in the back came up high, but I felt that the high neck and sleeves compensated for that. Very comfortable and hid any waist lines from stockings well.

This dress is so complementary -- and this coming from a girl that doesn't have much in the way of curves! The fabric is tight enough to act as a slight spanx dress--holding you in in the right spots with a flattering neckline. I am fairly taller than average (5'9) but this dress was long enough (just above my knee) that it was comfortable to wear tight and not feel risque.

This dress was gorgeous on and had comfortable lining! I didn't end up wearing it because I felt like I would stand out too much for the occasion (high school reunion) and ended up wearing a more muted toned dress instead. I took reviewer's advice and sized down, but I should have stayed true to size. The 4 fit snugly and I didn't even try for the 2. I am usually a 4 or a 6. I'll know for next time and the perfect occasion to wear a dress like this!

I am 5'9 and also rented a 6R (L wasn't available). The R length was way too short and hit me mid ankle. Luckily, the 4L fit perfectly. The slit is VERY high, I highly reccommend wearing spanx or some kind of slip! If there is any wind at all you will discover how open the front can be. I wore a spanx nude skirt which worked perfectly, but could have used some fashion tape too. This dress is a show stopper, highly reccommend!
