I wore this dress to my graduation and while it certainly is beautiful and I would recommend it, just be aware that it has a very strange fit. I say it runs true to size because it both runs big and small at the same time! I usually wear a 4 and ordered a 2 as my backup size. The 4 was a little bit tight around the shoulders but really ill fitting around the torso. I understand that it's a shift dress and isn't supposed to give you shape, but the material bunched up in weird places and it was simply too large around my tummy. The 2 was even tighter in the shoulders but fit well around the torso. That being said, the 2 looked great and was comfortable for the entire day. It's a beautiful spring and summer color and can be dressed up or down to make it work for any occasion! I wore it with some gold jewelry and sandals since we were on grass, but it would look killer with some gold heels or cowboy boots as well!

Man, did this dress make me feel beautiful. I wore the gown to an Inaugural Ball in January and even though there were thousands of dresses around me, I got compliments and stares all night long! The cut is extremely flattering (gave me hips!) and the slits at the bottom were not awkward at all. If you stand straight and walk normally, you can't even tell that they are there. At 5'6", I ordered the 4R and wore 3" heels and the dress was millimeters from the ground, so the length was perfect. I also paired it with gold bangles and a single gold ring, since the neckline is a statement piece all on its own. This was the first dress I ordered from RTR and is also my favorite!

Beautiful dress! I read the reviews and ordered a size 2 (usually wear a 4) and it fit perfectly. The dress has a really flattering cut and isn't nearly as short as it looks on the model. It hit me above the knee but was still professional and classy. It's also extremely versatile. I wore the same dress all day - a military commissioning ceremony in the morning, my graduation ceremony in the afternoon, and a fancy dinner in the evening - and it was perfect for every occasion! Wore it with silverish sandals and silver jewelry and got lots of compliments!
