The knit was thick and had plenty of spandex (or something stretchy) so it was definitely a fitted look, which was perfect for the speaking engagement I had. It was a non-profit charity event and I needed a dressy but not formal look. Great dress!

If you are wanting a shiny, glamorous piece, this is not it. I got this with the earrings and was envisioning something much more visible. Although the shape of the bracelet and earrings make a good statement, the finish was dull.

Was disappointed that the triangle portion was so muted. It almost looked like hammered silver with a dull sheen rather than sparkling the way I'd envisioned.

First Herve dress for me...I wish I could say it was fabulous but alas, it was a little too much. I was so glad the stylist recommended a medium, as there is no way my chest would have stayed contained in the small. The dress kept riding up as the night wore on and the horizontal stripes and the wide band kept getting scrunched together. Maybe if I'd tried a different pattern, I would have been more impressed...keeping the stripes and the band where it was supposed to fall on my body took up way too much time. In all fairness, i was up and down a lot...maybe it was the sitting and standing that was the issue.

I was nervous about renting this dress for a convention...I'm usually not an A line person, but this dress was phenom. I wore a 6 because of the chest but it did not bag out at all in the front the way other A lines usually do on me. It is stitched tightly enough through the waist and hips that it wears as a more fitted dress. I wore it with nude pumps, a cotton nude wrap, and big gold earrings. I did not rent a necklace to go with it, but I wish I would have done so. The colors right at the neck area are more bland, and it calls for either a beaded gold necklace or a statement necklace. I went the beaded gold and green route and was fine. Wish I had been in a picture...I got compliments on the total look all day long.

I was a first-time renter and was extremely nervous. I am long-waisted, am a 34D/DD, and have a small waist. I often have to get things tailored in the waist, but this dress was PERFECT. It fit like you would expect $1000 dress to fit...nothing was amiss. I felt classy and got a million compliments. After my first rental, suffice it to say that I AM A FAN!!
