I ordered both the 38 and the 40 - both didn't fit so well - the 38 was too small and the 40 was too big - i ended up not wearing this dress. It looks gorgeous on the model - i was also not too happy with the quality of the material - it was just a tough one to work.

I wore this dress to a bridal shower and it was perfect - the length, the little girly tulle on the bottom and the feel of it was very comfortable. The inner lining is actually soft. No complaints about this dress. It was perfect!

These clip on earrings are gorgeous but so heavy! I ended up not wearing them because I didn't think I will have fun with such heavy earrings pulling on my ears for 4 hours straight. I knew I would end up tossing them in my purse. They also spin a bit because the bottom part is so heavy and the back of it shows - which is this dark copper color - not the prettiest. If you will sit still for 1 hour, this is great. If you plan to dance or move around a bit, a def no-no.

this is supposed to help you create your dream body so it's meant to be tight - go a size smaller if you're in between sizes. I'm usually a S w/ slightly wide hips and the XS worked really well. It helps if you have some curves to wear this one even though the colorblocking creates the illusion of curves in all the right places. I was in love with it once I put it on and even though the dress was tight, I was able to move, breathe, dance, and eat a huge dinner. def a show stopper and surprisingly, a comfortable one. now i want to own it.

I rented this dress for a wedding in size 2R and 4R but didn’t wear either of them. It wasn’t the size that didn’t fit as this is the type of dress that’s pretty forgiving even if it’s a bit tight. It’s the entire SHAPE of the dress that works only for particular body types. If you have a short torso, this will NOT work for you. The 2R fit well in many aspects but not the shoulder straps and the back clip, which ended up looking like a baggy hunchback. (no, not drapey) Also, the behind area has 2 layers – the layer underneath which has a zipper, as well as the layer that’s part of the “cascade effect” – the layer underneath was a bit “lumpy” enough to make it visible to the top layer so the toosh looked…lumpy! Usually I’m a size 2 – this def runs a bit on the big side. I have a bunch of other Temperley London clothes (mostly tops) and her design and quality are both incredible. This is the type of dress you really need to try on. Or at least know if her dresses work on you or not. (also, if you have a tan/olive colored skin tone, this will wash you out).

I wore this to a wedding and it fit perfectly. It's very figure flattering and forgiving of all the aspects that may not be perfect. Fun to accessorize, which I did w/ a multistrand pearl necklace that cascaded all over the front.

This dress is really well made as it has a shelf bra built in, that zips up with a very sturdy zipper. This works well but flattens the chest out a bit. If you are heavy chested (i'm not), it may not be too flattering (bc where will all of it go??). I liked the concept of the back but since I have a short torso, it didn't work out that well and was a bit "squished" looking, leading to a semi-messy look in the back. Overall, the length was perfect for me being 5'2" + 3" heels. Normally, I wear a size 2 and the 38R fit well. If you're between a 2 and a 4, I would go up a size.

I can't rave about this dress enough! I wore it to a fancy birthday dinner and got a million compliments. It is light weighted, very elegant feeling and the photos do not show it, but there is a very long slit that goes all the way up to your thigh. Beyond the thighs, actually. It's very fun, sexy and I need to say it again - elegant. I actually want to own this one. the length of the 0R fit me well w/ 3" heels - not floor grazing but almost. I'm usually a size 2 so this runs a bit big as the size 0 was still really comfortable/loose. In photos, w/o the right pose, it will look "bohemian" so make sure you practice your pose for a more formal affair.
