Wore this to a destination wedding in St. Thomas. Worked great for my longer torso since there's no stark waistline. Scuba material isn't super revealing, but I definitely didn't think it served as shapewear by any means. I ended up going with the Large because I was feeling bloated and didn't want to feel self conscious about my belly area. The large felt a little roomier in the shoulders and bust than I would normally like, but it wasn't too bad.

Great pick for taller ladies since there's no defined waistline for those with longer torsos, and length was appropriate. I don't have sculpted arms or chubby arms and the sleeves were just right for me. The fit was quite comfortable (almost made me wonder how the 8 might have fit), but I was glad to quite comfortably sit (length was good) and dance without feeling self conscious about looking or feeling like an overstuffed sausage! :)

Loved the weight and quality of this dress. Took the red shoes idea from the model on the website and added some red dangly earrings. My only complaint was that the inside liner of the skirt was a bit tight, which made sitting, squatting down (to pick up our little one), bending over a little challenging. Pulling the skirt up an inch or two (not scandalous) before sitting helped a lot!

Wore this dress to my brother's wedding in SC in September. The fit was very nice and I was thankful to be able to wear a nursing bra and manage to BF my daughter a couple of times throughout the day. As I recall, the skirt portion of the dress was a bit revealing as far as panty lines (even for thongs) so I think I may have worn a slip underneath. Probably wouldn't rent it again, but I'm glad I gave it a try and was happy with how it looked in family photos!

Loved the fit of this dress, but can imagine it might have been a bit uncomfortable in warmer weather. Wore this to a wedding in June - great for dancing, easy to move in (i.e., chase our toddler), hides tummy imperfections. Definitely recommend it!

In general, I love a dress of this style - cute, flirty, nice fabric and of course pockets are a huge bonus. The real downside for me with this dress is the same as any dress with a natural waist. For me, being 5'9", most dresses with that waistline end up fitting a bit oddly. For this one, it was passable, but the waistline of the dress was about 2 inches higher than my natural waist. If you have a long torso, this might be one to skip.
