More than a LBD!
This dress was stunning! I have to say I was very disappointed when my first dress wasnt going to arrive in time for the party, but this back up dress was amazing. The material is thick and the dress has great structure. While it is low cut, its still tasteful. I would definitely rent again.

Not quite dressy enough for a wedding.
As the minister performing by brother's wedding ceremony, this seemed the perfect balance between professional and dressy enough for the wedding. Unfortunately, the dress was quite small and the fit was way too tight. Normally I will comfortably fit in a 6/8; even the 8 was way to tight. This dress in a 10 would have been better for a work function, not a wedding. It was well made and will be perfect on someone in the right size and setting.

Classic Silouette
A big thank you to the stylists at RTR. When my original dresses didn't fit, this became one of my backups. I was performing a wedding ceremony for a family member and needed a dress to go from officiant to guest. This dress worked out perfectly! I only wish I'd gotten the 8L instead of 8R. As others mentioned, the belt/sash was missing, so I bought a roll of 1.5" black satin ribbon and tied it around my waist with a bow in back.

Elegant Comfort
This was my backup dress for an Egyptian themed formal affair. While this dress was much more comfortable, I decided to wear the "Sequin Tyrian Purple Gown"...(can you blame me? It's purple sequin!) Back to this dress- the dress has a beautiful silhouette. While it's very elegant and understated, the gold mesh fabric on the shoulders and back really pump up the uniqueness of an otherwise plain black dress. Unfortunately I was told by an RTR consultant this dress was European sized - so I went up to a 10, instead of my normal 6/8 sizing. Wrong- an 8 would have fit perfectly, the 10 was way too big, but I could have pulled it off. According to my order, I received a 10R, but found the length to be perfect with 2-4" heels. Can't imaging how long the 10L would have been. Overall gorgeous, elegant, classy, comfortable.

Stunning in Purple Sequin!!
I wore this to an Egyptian themed formal holiday event. Wow! What a standout in purple sequins. I received a compliment from everyone I met. I loved the way it hugged my curves and the slight train in the back provides an amazing silhouette. The dress is very forgiving being it's made from stretchy material. The ruching across the torso/belly helps to hide slight body imperfections, but you will want some shape wear underneath. Wish I'd had a backless bra to push the girls up a bit, but it was just fine going without one. I wore the 6L, but wondered if the 8L would have been slightly more comfortable - I felt this dress was a half size too small as I needed assistance to zip it up. However, I may have run the risk of the shoulder straps being too long on the 8. The shoulder straps on the 6 could have been 1/2" shorter. Like others, I also had a slight rolling effect with the fabric on the chest. Keep in mind, these are all VERY small issues. Wore with 3" heels and the front of the dress just skimmed the floor - perfect length. Overall this dress is a knockout!!

Perfect Dress
Love love love this dress and wore it to my husbands 20th class reunion. Zac Posen knows how to dress a woman's body. This dress hugs your curves but is made with thick material as to create smooth lines. The deep neckline amps up the sexy factor. I fit into the 6, but the 8 was much more comfortable. It was hard to let this one go back. Will definitely rent again.

1920's Glamour
I rented this for a 1920's event. Since I figured most guests would be going with a "flapper" theme, I decided on 1920's glamour. This dress was perfect! I'm 5'7" 125 lbs - both the 2L and 4R fit well through the body, but 4R was too short and I would have had to wear flats. If the 4L was available, that would have been the perfect size since the 2L was juuuust a bit snug. I wore a modest 3" heel and the length on the 2L was just right. The dress is super comfortable with nice stretch.

WOW Factor!!
I rented this dress for an “Old Hollywood” themed Holiday Party. This dress was an absolute show stopper!! The color is a rich, shiny, Cherry Red. The fabric is thick and has stretch, so it’s extremely comfortable. This dress hugs every curve, so I did wear spanks just to smooth everything out, but no bra was necessary. Make sure any undergarments you use are seamless or you will notice the seams under the fabric. There is a ton of fabric on the bottom, which can make navigating stairs a bit tricky. Flash photography is not kind to this dress due to the shiny fabric, but it is AMAZING in person. I received a TON of compliments all evening! If you want to stand out and be noticed, this is the dress that will do it!! Gorgeous!!

The only sizes this dress comes in is XS and S. Based on the reviews, it seemed the S might fit. Not so much. Couldn't zip it up past my waist. I'm between a 6 & 8 and a Medium would have been perfect. Bummer.

Pretty, but not WOW.
I ordered a 10 and the overal fit just didnt sit right over my hips - I might be a bit too curvy. It kept riding up & bunching up in the lower back area. This would work better for someone with slender hips and very flat tummy. The dress is nice & conservative. No WOW factor here. Good quality and texture.

Sizing was off....
The colors matched exactly as pictured and the overlay is beautifully done in sequins. The dress looked gorgeous on the hanger. I ordered size 8 with 10 as a back-up. When i tried on the 8, the teal colored shell was a bit tight and i couldnt zip it up all the way on the side zipper. Good thing I ordered the size 10, right? Wrong. The teal shell on the 10 was smaller and shorter than the size 8! Even if i could have zipped it up, the shell barely fit over my hips to cover my bum. The teal shell was a few inches shorter than the top of the gold band on the sequin overlay. Not sure if the wrong size shell was mistakenly paired up with the size 10 overlay or possibly the shell has shrunk when cleaned by RTR, but the dress was unwearable.

This dress was quite revealing in the bust. I needed fabric/body tape to keep the v-neck in place without exposing my bra. The dress was very comfortable. I'm 5'7" and ordered the Long size, but would not in the future. The Regular length would have worked perfectly with up to 4" heels. I had to tape up the hem on the Long by 4-5 inches otherwise I was tripping over it while walking/dancing. It would have been annoying to constantly hold up the dress every time I took a step.

Classy & Comfortable
This dress was a bit complicated to get on, but once you get it, the fit is amazing - very comfortable. The only thing I would have changed was the length. I'm 5'7" and wore 4" heels and i was tripping over the 40L dress - especially if i took a step back (dancing). I would go with the Regular length next time. I had to use fabric tape to take up the hem by 4-5 inches on the Long. Once I did, it fit perfectly. I was able to get away with a standard black bra instead of a low back bra.This dress doesn't photograph well, but it looks amazing in person!

Great Detail - Strange Fit
This dress would have been absolutely beautiful - if it fit. According to my measurements and a conversation with a stylist (Bust 38, Waist 30, Hip 39), I should have fit into size 40L. I picked size 42R as a back-up. When I tried on the 42, it was waaayyy to small throughout the torso - once i got it zipped (barely) the shoulders were too big and kept falling down exposing my breasts. Talk about wardrobe malfunction! In addition, according to my height (5'7"), I should have worn the Long, but I found the Regular length was perfect with 4" heels. I was tripping over the Long even with heels. Unfortunately this dress was unwearable for me. :( It might have fit if I went one more size up, but I think this style just wont work for larger busted women. The quality and detail of the dress is gorgeous.
