I chose size 6 based on other reviews, and was glad I did. It fit perfectly, although I'm usually an 8. It is short, but I never felt self-conscious. I didn't need to wear a bra. The boning on the right side felt a bit sharp. Luckily I was wearing high-waisted shorties underneath to prevent being poked.

This fits like a glove and is very flattering. My husband said he liked watching other ladies looking at the dress : ) The 6 fit well on the top half, but I have too much badunkadunk for the bottom half. All of the up and down at Derby would have made the bottom half of the 6 ride up like whoa. So I went with the 8, and was glad I did.

First, I will say I had a very hard time putting this dress back in the mail this morning! The bodice is very tight, I was glad I listened to other reviewers and ordered the next size up. There truly is no give to the fabric, so making the size 8 work was not happening! The good news is the free-flowing skirt was perfect and beautiful for the dance floor. I think this dress works very well on ladies with curves, and may help create some curves for those needing a boost. The bust was a little roomy, so I wore a strapless bra to improve the fit, although I will note a bra is definitely not necessary. I wore this with strappy pewter heels and faux-vintage bracelets and felt it was a timeless look. I received many compliments!

I wore this to a work party this year. The 8 fit like a glove, and I mean it...one more bite of dinner would have been an issue : ). I got the 10 as well...the 10 was very obviously too large. The cut and fabric do not give, but you can't pull this one off it is is too big. I recommend ordering your "normal" size, and next size up.

I wore this for our office Christmas party and received lots of compliments. I am ordinarily a size 8, I typically buy that size in dresses off the rack and am good to go no matter what. I was glad I read the reviews and ordered a size down because the 6 fit perfectly and was what I ended up wearing. I paired with the Cynthia Rowley two tone tights, and layered several of my own pearl strands to replicate the look in the photo on here. It was a hit.
