I ordered this as a backup to another Helmut Lang dress for a cocktail party. I got a 4 and a 6, and the 4 fit me very well. I was pleased with the overall fit, but the detailing on the dress just wasn't as cool as I'd hoped it would be. I think a lot of the fabric draping that looks so good on the model in the photo ended up being a bit "saggy" on me, making it look a bit ill-fitting. I did like this dress... I just didn't love it.

I rented this dress for a cocktail party. I wore a size 6, but could have definitely worn a 4 (unfortunately it was unavailable on the date I needed it). The 6 still looked great, though. This fabric is great... silky smooth, great quality, lightweight. The white detailing down the sides makes it very slimming and flattering. The print is abstract enough that it looks very cool. I got a lot of compliments on this dress. The only negative thing I can say about it is that the length was too long for my taste. At a little over 5'7" and wearing 4 inch heels, the hem was maybe an inch above my knees. Definitely not mid-thigh as shown in the photo. Also, this dress is a little conservative on its own, so I paired it with funky heels, fun jewelry, and a black moto jacket to youth it up a bit and give it a little more edginess. This is a dress I wish I owned... very versatile.

I wore this necklace to a wedding, and fell in love with it immediately. It's a bold statement piece - I received so many compliments on it. It was a sad day having to send it back.

I wore this to my husband's company holiday party. I received several compliments, and was overall very pleased with it. The color is beautiful, the lace detail is very elegant, and the length was perfect. I thought the fit was good, but the shift style made it a little boxier than I was hoping for. But all in all, this dress was a success and I'm glad I chose it.

I thought the color was great... very true to the photo. Unfortunately, I ended up not being able to wear either size. The slip of the 4 (my usual size) was way too tight at the hips. The 6 fit better, but ultimately it just wasn't very flattering on me. The top of the dress was sort of boxy, and the mid-section made me look like I had no waist at all. It just wasn't a "wow" dress.

I really liked this dress, and was sad to have to send it back. I got the 4 and the 6. Either would have worked fine, but I ended up wearing the 6 because it was a little roomier in the chest. I wore it to an outdoor daytime party, and paired it with a cropped navy cardigan and some pretty high wedges. It was really a fantastic dress... casual enough for a daytime party, but dressy enough that I still felt like I looked special. I would recommend this dress with no hesitation.

I received so many compliments on this dress at the wedding I went to, even from the bride herself. It was a gorgeous, vibrant color (very true to the color in the photo) -- and it really stood out in the crowd. It was also a very flattering fit, and true to size. I'm normally a 4, so I got the 4 and the 6, and ended up wearing the 4 with no problem. I highly recommend renting the necklace shown in the picture, too... I got tons of compliments on it, and it really completed the whole look. The only thing that took me by surprise was that the hemline is different than it looks in the photos. It's not a smooth hem... but more of a "shredded" look, with threads hanging down about half an inch all the way around the hem (including the wrap part). Looks good, though, but different than the photo.
