It does not look this good in person!
It is cut very low. Needed a camisole. The cross over does not connect to other side very well and I have a little waist. I was disappointed overall and did not wear the top to the holiday party - that is why I ordered it.

I did not wear it..sleeves were way too long and no way to roll up.
The sleeves were way too long for me. I am only 5' tall and now will watch that more carefully. I did not like the material/fabric.

Paired with a vintage fabulous necklace, this dress was a real hit and I felt great for my Black Tie
Wore to a fancy NYC Black Tie. The dress was a 10R and I usually wear a 6 or 8 so go to a 10 if you typically wear an 8 as I believe Vera Wang cuts small. It is very long and touched the floor even in 4 inch heels for me but I am only 5' tall. This is comfortable and a lovely dress. Very elegant. I liked the feel of the fabric and the color and mentioning only because others did not. Felt great! A Fun dress for a big event.

Felt great in this dress.
The piece around the shoulders and back is just great as I do not like just "bare arms" and this handles that issue. The ruching of the dress creates a terrific look. This was my favorite dress of all. I love RTR! Size 8R was ideal - a tight fit to zip but very comfortable all night long.

This was a black tie affair focused on Latina women - so I wanted something fun! I got it.
I went to the NY showroom to find the right dress. I would never have selected this from the website but when I tried it on - it was perfect for the event! I also would never have ordered a size 12 - but the 12 was the right fit and I am a size 8. You need a camisole and I used a camisole "bra" with built in cami. I had a lot of fun wearing this dress.

It has some "sheer" panels on top and the side.... It did not really work for me, however.
The 8r is very small and I had also ordered the 10R which fit better. I did not really like the lacy panels on the bodice and on the sides. It just did not work for the formal event.

I ended up not wearing this for the occasion because it was just too plain.
The 8R was true to size...it has a lot of stretch - but it ended up not being used for a "fun" black tie because it was just so plain and simple....and not very dressy even though it looks that way in the photo. The material is just a simple jersey and I wanted more "glam".

I had to return this - not used. It was my favorite of the two dresses I rented.
The 8R runs very small. I could not zip it up and I have an athletic body and a fairly small rib cage. Get the 10R unless you are teeny tiny and weigh a lot less than I weigh.

The dress fits great size 8R and I am typically an 8 or smaller - I am only 5' tall but it was ideal length. The fabric has some stretch in it so it was comfortable ...everyone loved it!
