I never select black dresses from RTR because I wear so much black and grey in my everyday life. But this sparkly, twirly dress stood out because of the sheer sleeves, silver accents, and plunging neckline. This dress was comfortable and photographed so well! I received so many compliments. I loved the length and the neckline but fashion tape is a must, especially if you are small-chested (like me). I loved this dress and would rent it again.

I rented this dress for a work banquet in Las Vegas and I've worn the long version of it before as well. I like it because it is comfortable and flattering. I've got broader shoulders and the halter cut fits me well and the length is nice. The color is true to the photos, a vibrant royal blue, and you can see the length is neither too short or too long. I wore a 4 and I normally wear a 4 or 6. I also didn't wear a bra because the bra I brought was convertible to a racerback but it didn't quite match up with the dress. I would have preferred to wear a bra for a bit more lift, but c'est la vie. I received a lot of compliments on the cut and color as I did when I wore the long version of this dress too.

This dress was pretty and comfortable for a wedding that had an outdoor cocktail reception in St. Louis in August. It was 97 degrees and the heat index was 105 or something and I was glad it was so light and airy! It fit true to size, was flattering and I got a lot of compliments. I have broad shoulders and I recommend it for anyone who has the same build as I do because I didn't have to size up.

I got the small and the medium in this and the small was the best fit for me because I am small busted and the medium was a little long and the straps were loose in the back. I wore 3.5 inch heels and it was perfect. It was super comfortable and I did not stop receiving compliments all night. I wore it to a formal work event and everyone just kept telling me how pretty and flattering it was. The straps are stretchy material and so it probably wouldn't cut into your shoulders or back if you're worried about that. It is rather revealing in the back, but it didn't make me feel uncomfortable.
