This was my second dress choice that I had rented for our engagement photos. I loved the look and feel of this dress, although I'm glad I ordered one size up for backup since I felt that the fit and flare style made it a little shorter on me (especially since I'm 5'9). Unfortunately, we had to reschedule our engagement photos due to bad weather so I only got to try this dress on, as opposed to actually wearing it.

I rented this dress to wear for our engagement photos and was nervous about how it would fit before receiving it in the mail. The good news is that it could not have been more perfect. A total knockout, and completely flattering to my figure. Not to mention, I felt super glamourous, even just trying it on! The only down side was that I was unable to wear it for the photos since we had to reschedule them due to weather. I will definitely be rerenting this gown again once our session gets rescheduled...that's how much I loved this dress.

This dress fit like a glove! If you are confident with your figure and don't mind showing off your curves, then this is the perfect dress to do just that. I was worried the material would be too tight and constricting, but it surprisingly it had just the right amount of squeeze AND room to move. Plus, it stayed in place! I wore this out for my birthday dinner, and while I loved the look, it may be more appropriate at a nightclub or girls night out. It is definitely an attention-grabbing look...when we walked into the restaurant, we couldn't help but notice some really obvious stares...so much so, that my boyfriend was getting a little annoyed! But I guess that's not a bad thing, just not while you're trying to eat! ;)

I loved everything about this dress...until I put it on. I was really looking forward to wearing this to an all-day brunch event on vacation in South Beach, but unfortunately I couldn't wear it at all! The slip that is built in to the dress was WAY too short and didn't cover a thing! Had I known ahead of time, maybe I could have improvised by wearing my own nude colored slip to cover my butt (the dress material is completely sheer), but with limited options packed for vacation I had no choice but to return the dress unworn. Slip issues aside, I also would have preferred if the black band was tighter or had the ability to be cinched in, since it hung a bit loose and baggy around my waist. This is more of a personal thing, since I prefer a more defined waistline! I'm curious if other people experienced a similar issue with the slip being too short underneath? If so, what did you do to improvise?
