Built for somebody with a super exaggerated hourglass figure
I have an hourglass figure and this was still way too big in the bust and very tight in the waist. Going larger would have been right for the waist, but I was already swimming in the top. I don't know how this works for your average person!

Show stopper!
This dress was a total show stopper. I got compliments all night and felt like a million bucks. While it looks like a heavy fabric in pics, it is not at all. and tough to see in pics is the plaid underneath the floral brocade, giving it a sort of bohemian meets regal feel. It is on the long side, so I had to wear my tallest heels as I didn't have time to double-stick-tape up the bottom. My only complaint is that it didn't have pockets - which would be so easy on this dress!

Odd measurements for hourglass figure
I've got an hourglass figure. Size 4-6 depending on the designer. the small size of this dress would not even go over my hips and the medium was FAR too lose on my hips and waist but STILL too tight on my bust. I suspect this dress is for those who don't have a strong hourglass type figure.

It's a small 4 so if you're on the cusp 4/6, order both.
This dress was very cute - flowy, sexy, comfortable if a little tight. I'm on the larger 4 size right now but the 6 was far too big overall, so I chose to go with slightly too tight. Shows off the curves really well. Wrinkles very easily, so ideally not something you put on and then sit in a car for an hour before your event!

The lace material seems to pull at the under layer…making it look cheaply made. And the bust cups (for lack of a better term) are very small. So they actually make a bust look smaller and/or like you’re trying to be smaller than you are. It was just…meh. Didn’t wear it.

Really great fit and classic look
This fit like a glove and I was not at all worried about it falling down - the bodice is perfect. I got tons of compliments and would have purchased immediately from RTR if that was an option. The zipper, however, easily comes off the rails, so to speak. When you go to the bathroom, be sure to have somebody zip you. Not because it's impossible to do yourself, but because the zipper wants to come off the tracks and then, well, it splits when you least expect it to!

WAY too long
The torso part of this was great - true to other reviews in that it was a little tight on top, but I accounted for that in the sizing. The length, however, was comical. We're talking 8 inches dragging on the floor WITH my inch heels on. Yes, I'm short (5'2") but that is INTENSE! If you're not at least 5'8", I wouldn't rent this otherwise adorable dress as it's tough to fake hem a pleated skirt!

This was my backup for our wedding rehearsal party. I didn't end up wearing it but easily could have. Cute and fit well. The sequins may have been a bit itchy/cumbersome, but for a 3 hour cocktail event, not so bad!

Cute sides/back but terrible front
This was cute from the side and back but just awful from the front. The line of the seam cut straight down the body and was tight - almost like a bad bodysuit, but one you could see that one seam through right down to the lady parts. A real bummer.

I'm in between a 4 and 6 at the moment (chest closer to a 6) and this fit me perfectly. The only negative about this outfit is that the zipper is difficult to do alone. I connected a gold necklace chain to the back zipper to make it doable for bathroom breaks! Worked like a charm.

I'm usually a size 4 (curvy, hourglass) but admittedly puffy at the moment. Sort of falling between a 4 and a 6. I wish there'd been a size up for me to rent to compare this to because this is do darn cute but was just a hair too tight to pull off comfortably. I will absolutely rent this again and try the larger size and/or know when i'm a little less puffy that it works!

Sexy, easy dress
Love the fabric and cut of this dress. It's a thick fabric so you feel secure and shapely without any bulges or panty-line issues. I wish teh colors were more striking as it was difficult to get a good picture in the evening light to show them off. That's my only complaint!

Comfortable and stunning dress!
This dress was perfect. Perfect fit, weight, fabric, style, color. I got compliments all night long and felt beautiful. It was also great for dancing, and having pockets is always a perk! I wore navy blue shoes to the wedding ceremony (a better look if you have, I think), but wanted to be able to dance for the reception so I changed to the silver shoes pictured. I'm a size 4 and this fit like a glove. I'm also curvy, and felt this hugged in just the right places. Highly recommend!

This was a back up option, and ultimately not the dress I wore. Great fabric - very forgiving and comfortable. Didn't love the lay of the shoulder accents though - if you bend over, they fall and get all bunched up. Not the most attractive and I would have been fiddling with them throughout the event. Also, I'm 5'2" and this dress was LONG. Would definitely need to get creative with hem tape. I'm a size 4 generally, and the 2 fit perfectly, so runs a bit large.

Sexy and comfortable!
I didn't end up wearing this for my event as I felt I'd be too chilly based on the weather. Really sexy dress and hugs all the right places. The ruffle in front hides that pesky belly area that is often not my favorite part of my body. This is a tricky length in the main body of the dress. A short waisted torso (and I border on short waisted) might find this tricky. I'm generally a size 4, but that was way too long waisted with the fit of the dress. For it to work, I needed to wear the 2 as it fit more snugly. Maybe a tad too snugly. Overall, a gorgeous look. I may order again for another event.

Scene stealing outfit! Comfortable. Slimming. Highlights the booty curves. My boyfriend especially liked that! Ha! I got compliments all night long and felt confident, comfortable and beautiful. What more can you ask!? It's a heavier material so I think it would be too heavy for certain climates in hot months. I wore it at a chilly outdoor/barn wedding on an unseasonable cold day in Sept in Michigan with a jacket until dancing warmed me up. Legs were perfectly warm as the fabric has some weight to it. I loved this outfit so much!

Pretty dress, but odd fit.
I'm almost always a Size 4, and this 4 was large. The 2 fit me better, but was still an odd fit. As in other reviews, it's true that the next fits tightly. The overall dress is long though - to the waist and the floor. I think you have to be long waisted and tall to pull this one off.

My biggest tip to offer with this dress is NOT to wear it for an event where you will be sitting a lot - it wrinkles SOOOOO much. That was a bummer. However, I felt awesome in it, great for dancing, a light material for the most part. It's just tricky to find the event that it's appropriate for in terms of the wrinkle factor.

Not for busty or short waisted ladies!
This was a bummer as I loved the idea of this dress. In the shop I had tried on the Size 2 which was definitely too small, but we figured that the 4 or 6 would work great. Not so. The 4 was still way too small on my bust, and the 6 was tight in the waist and then too long waisted. It's just not meant for an hourglass body type, I don't think. So cute though! If you can pull it off, do it! Awesome material.

The 4 was ever so slightly too big and the 2 was slightly too small, so I'd say the sizes are a bit off on this one. Definitely order two sizes. I went with the size that was a tad too big. Overall, this dress is fantastic. I would buy if it I could. Comfortable material and fit. Moves with your body. Great color and cut. I wish I had a photo as I felt like a million bucks in this dress.
