Itchy and not black
It looks black and reviewers are wearing/pairing with black but mine was navy. I checked in different light and daylight definitely navy. The wool is course and so it’s not as comfortable directly on the skin. Very warm.

Frumpy and not flattering
It has back of dress buttons that are tricky if you live alone! My golden retriever doesn’t have thumbs to help. I may have ordered too large but it looked terrible on me. I was excited to wear this dress for fall but didn’t even want to step out of the house in it

Cute but scratchy
The cut and fit are flattering, the colors pretty but the inside fabric is scratchy for someone who is highly sensitive to these things and the print is Eiffel towers with a postage cancellation stamp, which reminds me of something from the 80s but not in a good way
