I wore this in January 2025. I was at my heaviest weight in my adult life and I was feeling very insecure about my weight, but had a formal event to attend. I had never rented a dress before and really should have selected larger sizes. I squeezed myself into the 14, but added the cropped sweater to hide my arms and take away from the full chest view. The straps cut into my shoulders due to the weight of my chest. The dress was gorgeous and given the opportunity, I would rent it again now that I've lost some weight and have a better idea of my sizing.

We had a gala to attend for our local animal shelter. The theme was Old Hollywood. This dress gave just the right look to match the vibe. In person it is more of a wine color, but it photographs (with flash) much more red. I received so many compliments on it. The slit wasn't too high and the fabric has just enough stretch that I didn't feel stuffed into it. The flowers on the shoulder and waist were perfect. I loved everything about this dress.
