I was in love with the royal blue color of this dress and adored the flyaway, hi-lo opening in the front. However, when I tried the dress on, the straps were just far too long for me to wear. The fit was also much larger than I expected. (I got the 4 and the 6, thinking the 4 might run too small, but it was too big!) If you are going to rent this dress, I would suggest spicing it up with a jeweled belt to emphasize your waist.

I actually got this dress as backup and didn't plan on wearing it to my event (a black-tie wedding). However, when I got both dresses, I couldn't take my eyes off of this one! The color is more of a bright fushia than the purple it appears in the photo, which worked well with my olive skintone. The fit was clingy but comfortable. I am a little self-conscious of my tummy area, which I thought this dress would highlight, but the waist of the dress is cut at the perfect place to help conceal any less-than-perfect midriffs. I have a small chest so I went braless, and it was fine. The slit made me feel sexy, and I loved the back! A perfect combination of classy and sexy.
