Just the right amount of drama!
This was me going outside of my comfort zone in terms of style when making selections for RTR Update. A risk worth taking! The color looked great and the material was so soft. I got tons of compliments whenever I wore it. Cons: The ruffles are the sleeves vs a sleeve w ruffles on it. I'd recommend wearing a long sleeve top underneath (I wore a thermal) on a cold day for a little extra warmth. On a similar note, its not a thick sweater so again, layer on cold days! The drama of the ruffles would sometimes get caught on things and snag so watch out!

Funky but not trying too hard
I got this dress as a part of my RTR Update. I wore it to go see Janet Jackson and it was perfect for channeling 90s Janet! Ive never worn Vince before so got a Large and in hindsight should ordered a medium because i was swimming in this dress. The tie waist made it flattering along with subtle splits on each side. This is great as a throw on but still look cool dress!

More of a sweater coat than cardigan
I wanted to love this cardigan but it just wasnt in the cards. I loved the pattern and texture, but that's where things ended. The meduim was much longer than I typically wear my caridgans and hit in a spot that was longer than a boyfriend style but not as long as a maxi cardigan. The medium was also a smidge too big and the sleeves were too long. On top of all of that, whoa was it WARM. I almost felt silly wearing it all day @ work bc i was so toasty. I had several co-workers (after complimenting me) ask why I was wearing my coat inside. Maybe this weave in a different cut & weight would be better for a cardigan.

Classy, curve hugging & comfortable
This was my first time using RTR & it was a success. It took a few minutes for the material to "give" a little but afterwards this dress was a dream. The ruching was perfect to help highlight curves and camouflage a little bit of a tummy. I wore 3 or so inch heels and didn't have any issues with the dress dragging. I got tons of compliments that night and at a post event brunch the next day even had someone refer to me as "the girl in the stunning black dress". If you're not one for a ton of embellishment but want to make a statement, I highly recommend this dress.
