So I had to order this in a 0L because the 0R was reserved, my stylist thought with heels it should be fine and for the most part it was. I'm 5'5" - 103lbs and wore 4 inch heels. The dress was still long, but the way the material falls it actually looks fine and you would never know it's too long. I picked it up when I walked and danced only so it didn't get stepped on since it's just a rental. The bust was just a tinyyy bit too big, I had to readjust a few times, but nothing that was a real inconvenience. Honestly the hanger straps kinda looked like normal straps so if you're worried about it falling down you could probably just wear them! The slight ombre color on this was super pretty in person and very subtle. The way the fabric is draped on the bust is also so gorgeous and keeps the dress from feeling too plain. I definitely would be careful wearing it to a wedding as it can look like a bridesmaid dress, so as long as purple isn't one of the wedding colors you should be fine :) Overall I really loved this dress and didn't want to take it off at the end of the night. It was flowy and magical and makes you feel so beautiful and special. Would absolutely rent again.

After changing my mind on my original dress last minute, my stylist sent me this as an option along with another dress. It's very beautiful in person, and the lace is so pretty and delicate. I had a few issues with the dress, mainly that it ended up being too big, even in my normal size. I am a pretty small person (5'5" - 103 lbs) but it didn't give me any shape. If the waist had been more defined it could have worked but it just hung too big all over. Perfect length with 4 inch heels and the cut out in the back was gorgeous. I did feel just a bit matronly in it, though, and I didn't want to pick a dress that aged me. I think it was more suited for a work event in the winter than a black tie summer wedding, but still definitely a gorgeous dress for the right person.

So I didn't actually end up wearing this dress, but I'll review it for those with a similar build as me. I'm 5'5" and about 103lbs and this dress fit me absolutely perfectly. Now, since I'm pretty small (and usually have a hard time finding dresses that fit) and it fit me just right, I would maybe say that it runs on the smaller side? The material does stretch a little and it's super flattering so you may be able to stick with your normal size. When I had 4 inch heels on it just reached the ground and was the perfect length. You can wear a normal bra with it and it's very easy to get on and off. Material is a little heavy so it might get warm during summer events. But I think the blue makes it perfect for a winter formal! My only complaint might be that the back of the dress, just under the butt, wasn't that fitted. I can't really explain it other than it kinda made my butt look flat (it's not!) and from the side I looked a bit like a board straight up and down. Kinda a minor detail considering otherwise it's a perfect dress. I had originally wanted it in red but ordered the blue and it's a really pretty midnight blue with just a hint of dark teal undertones. It really is a gorgeous dress, I just changed my mind at the last minute.
