I wore this dress to a black tie gala when 5 months pregnant. The pleating under the bust was nice because it both provided extra room for and camouflaged the bump without looking like a tent. It was a bit snug around the ribs but I attribute that to wearing the under-bust seam higher than usual to account for the bump. I was able to wear a regular bra, but the straps were large and I noticed I adjusted myself a few times throughout the evening. A bit of double stick tape would have done the trick! 4L was the perfect length with 3in heels. No rubbing under the arms on sequence. Well lined which was wonderful in the cool November evening. Two thumbs up!

As other reviews mentioned, the arm holes are awkward. If I pulled the dress up (in the arm hole areas) there was a weird bunching over my chest, and if I pulled the dress down so the material was flush, my strapless bra would show. Also, the hanging ribbons were short and difficult to keep tucked in. I felt like I was fussing with the dress all night. However, I did get many compliments and felt very sexy.

I liked the length of the 6R but the fit of 4R, so I wore the 4. It was a bit snug across my back/shoulder since there is little give in the fabric and structure, but it wasn't a big bother. While the dress never felt tight, it showed undergarment lines so invest in a great pair of seamless ones. Also, the dress does not have a distinct line across the thighs the way the photos shows, which I was pleased about! I go tons of compliments all night. This is my favorite RTR to date!

I rented this for my bachelorette and LOVED it! It fit perfectly and was comfortable for a night full of dancing. My only complaint was that the belt was in bad shape and I had to safety pin it together. Probably more a result of multiple rentals as opposed to manufacturing.

This dress was very comfortable. I was able to wear a strapless bra, which is always a must for me. The asymmetric neckline and straps were an awesome detail and the swirl/bunched fabric that gathers at the waist helped me feel comfortable eating all night. I felt very slim without feeling like I couldn't enjoy myself. Tons of compliments at a fancy black tie wedding! Would absolutely recommend it for others!

I rented this dress for a formal event. It was extremely comfortable, but nothing special. Event spiced up with a funky necklace, I didn't feel super special (which I normally do in RTR's fun dresses!) I'm 5'8" ~135lbs 34C chest, and the 6L was perfect. I had to wear 4" heels to the bottom wouldn't drag. The dress does slip down a bit and can minimize your bust, so I recommend a good strapless. Spanks helped smooth my midsection too since the material is rather thin and stretchy. I'd rent it again if was going to an event which I need to be understated in.

I rented this dress for my bachelorette party. It looks MUCH better in person and fits better too. I was nervous with the rental, but once putting it on I loved it. The back corset isn't as different colored as appears in photo. It's the same color as the piping on the front. The piping makes the dress more than a short strapless number. It curves the body and makes you look super skinny! I got tons of compliments... plus it was comfortable!
