this dress is stunning! but probably not the best choice for pear shapes.
i needed a dress for Oaks kind of last minute, and because you are 'encouraged' to wear pink, my choices were limited. i saw this dress and thought it looked super cute on most of the girls, though i was worried about the negatives of course, especially since i'd be kind of screwed and without a dress if it didn't work out. i am normally a 4 or 6 depending on how a dress fits, i assumed i'd be a 6 in this because of the cut, but the 6 was crazy tight. the 8 was WAY too loose though, in the chest and stomach area.. it was not cute. it was just.. loose and awkward and weird. i also don't have the chest to fill it out. so i had to go with the 6, and some trusty spanx.. and no bending down. the top of the 6 fit perfectly, and the bottom half really wasn't that bad, just tight. i had to keep pulling it down because it moved up when i walked. that's my hips though, not the dress. i definitely do think it would work better on someone with less hips and more boobs, but overall i am super happy with the rental. i wouldn't rent it again, but i'm not mad i did.

love the colour, fit well and was a good length.
i am 5'9 and dresses like this are usually too short (which is completely unfair because i'm not even *that* tall). this one was great. i wore it with flip flops, which i know is super classy, but i've done the derby in heels before and never, ever, ever again. this is a gorgeous colour dress, it fit true to size and i loved wearing it. i don't know if i would rent it again, i didn't love it so much i can't live without it, but that's the point of RTR, to try fun new things that you wouldn't normally buy or want to re-wear all the time, right?

great dress for winter, i think it runs a bit small.
this dress is super cute, especially for winter because of the material, and it looks great with tights and boots. i am normally a 4-6 in dresses, depending on how they fit - as this was fitted up top and flare in my trouble areas, i expected the 4 to fit, but it was far too tight, wasn't comfortable. it did up, but the 6 was more comfortable and a tad longer. i am 5'9 and i wore tights underneath, i'm not sure i'd feel comfortable otherwise.

Gorgeous dress
I can't believe I've been using RTR for almost 2 years and have never noticed this dress. I knew I wanted to wear it as soon as I saw it! So cute, different and fabulous. I wore a 4 and I'm normally a 4-6 depending on where it fits - the top was a bit tight but that's probably because I've put on a few pounds, nothing crazy. Just made me stand up straight all night and it was fine. If only this dress had pockets!

Cute necklace. If I was buying it, I wouldn't pay more than $20.
i have rented this necklace twice, it's fun. i like it and it went well with both dresses. it's a cute, simple necklace but if i was buying it, i wouldn't pay more than $20, it doesn't really scream kate spade to me. that being said, it's cute and i like it, and i would probably rent it again (i rented it in 2014 and then again in 2015, so maybe again in 2016) but it's not something i would purchase and wear all the time.

Gorgeous Maxi Dress
I'm 5'9 and I wore the XSL with flip flops, you can see how long it is. I am a 32C and this dress had pretty much zero support but it worked without a bra - as you can see when I slouched, not cute, if there was an XXS it would have worked up top but too tight elsewhere. In fitted dresses I'd be a M or 6 so to be an XS, I'd say it runs a bit big. The pockets are awesome and the dress is so much prettier in person I would definitely rent again.

Gorgeous Dress, fancier than it looks
I got this dress in 4L and 4R (I was worried about length and they sent me a 4L complimentary even though I didn't get a free backup). The 4R was fine but didn't touch the ground the way I like maxis to do. The 4L, as you can see, pooled on the ground. I had no shoes on, and I hadn't touched the straps so I think this would be fine for me with sandals or a small heel. For some reason I couldn't get the dress zipped up all the way, but I snapped a quick pic and sent it back immediately as unfortunately my plans were cancelled. I would absolutely rent this dress again.

Cute dress, I think runs true to size if not a bit small
I am 5'9, normally a 4 or 6 depending on where a dress is fitted. I got the 4 and 2 for the dress, and as you can see, both fit, but I did feel better in the 4 although I don't think it gave me that much more length. I think this would look super cute with a brown belt and brown sandals or heels, unfortunately I didn't get to wear it. I would absolutely rent it again but I might get the 4 and 6 this time.

gorgeous dress, fabulous customer service. depending on body - runs true to size.
Firstly, RTR service is beyond amazing. Don't be afraid to contact them if something is wrong, they are amazing and will fix everything. I got the 4 & 6, the 6 fit but was a teensy bit tight and not in perfect condition - Alex L sent me an 8 overnight and it was perfect, fit like a shift should and in perfect condition. I have a big booty & hips so I do not think this dress runs large - if you have no hips, or you want it to be fitted, yes you should get your size or smaller. But if you are more pear, like myself, and want it to be up and down like a shift, you might need to size up. i loved this dress. very pretty, feminine, fancy but can be dressed up or down. Tons of compliments. Absolutely would rent again.

pretty dress, not perfect.
this dress is cute, but not perfect. its quite heavy for such a little dress - not a light summer dress at all. it doesnt sit / flow very nicely. i have a small chest and wore the 2, and it was tight, but the 4 was far too big. i would not rent this particular dress again, but it worked more than fine for the occasion, but i was self conscious about how the bottom of the dress would sit, so i kept straightening / smoothing it.

First RTR - Hooked for sure. this dress is fab!
This was my first RTR experience, and I'm totally hooked. this dress was absolutely gorgeous. I rented it for Kentucky Oaks 2013 and received lots of compliments. I'm 5'9 and normally a 2 or 4 / small in dresses. I am very small up top, so I got the XS R and L - I ended up wearing the L because the regular was far too short, and I was only wearing flats.
