The dress was perfect for a formal affair. It fit tight in all the right places but not too tight were it wasn't comfortable to move in it. We danced the night away, and I felt like I was wearing a regular comfortable dress, not a designer gown. It made me feel like a princess! I do have to say it size is the typical designer size. I'd say the small is more like an XS. I wore the medium, but it felt like a small medium. Otherwise, I'd rent this again for an out of state affair.
