Rent it!
This was a great little dress. I wore it on a few different occasions, and every time, it was appropriate and stylish. It's not a stunner when you first put it on, but after you realize how versatile it is (and how flattering), you're not going to want to send it back. I rented it with a little leather moto jacket and the outfit was great - I got so many compliments!

Great piece, but I can't imagine it being worth $900
I loved this jacket. It was such a great piece, and fit with everything in my closet. I wore it with jeans, and it also looked perfect with the Matison Stone sleeveless sweater dress. It was cropped at just the right length and it didn't add any bulk. However, I couldn't get the zipper to work and the leather felt really thin. I would *definitely* recommend this piece for a rental, but I can't imagine a world in which it'd be worth the retail price.

Funny fit
I've never had a dress be oversized through the shoulders, but this one was! I would say it is a perfect dress for lean women with broader shoulders. As another reviewer said, the sleeves were quite long, although it was a little snug through the bust. The fabric is thick, almost an upholstery, but more dimensional than in the images. Even though the fabric is beautiful, I wouldn't want to wear a dress made out of this material; it just felt like my grandma's upholstered silk-blend couch pillows.

Interesting dress, tricky sizing
I think this dress could be really great, but it was too small for me. I got the wrong size - slim pickings, this time of year - but even at a larger size, it seems hard to imagine how it would fit on someone with a more athletic build. Someone else has noted that there are only two buttons at the hips. While some the other reviewers have made it work beautifully in pictures, I think there must be sticky tape involved in the top section - it's quite loose at the top, and snug at the hips. Given that, I would hesitate to try to rent this one again unless the backup size is available.
