This is an easy comfortable dress for a date night. I'm 5'1'' and like short dresses and this was rode up a good bit so be prepared to pull it down a lot. But I would rent it again.

Waistband falls too low on a petite. Lovely dress. Nice liner.
Size way down unless you want a droopy waistband which changes the look of the dress to more of a flapper style. If you have a bigger waist though, this may work for you. If not, size way down. It's stretchy so you won't regret the size down. The liner is nice.
