I wore this dress to a wedding with patent black pumps. I found the size 6 to be only slightly tight for my comfort but I don't think it was noticeable to anyone else. The length of the dress seemed to be appropriate and overall the dress was very flattering. There were some bugle beads missing and some picks/piling on the back of the dress, otherwise, the dress seemed to be in good condition. This dress is much prettier in person. The a beads looked expensive and the texture on the skirt was amazing. I wish though that for a dress with such amazing details that they designers had put in bra strap holders.

About the dress: it is a stiff cotton twill with a little stretch to it and satin pleated shoulder detail. The hem of the dress has a stiff "tape" (almost like what they use for collar stays in men's dress shirts) sewn in the hem of the dress to give it that cute flare to the dress. I wish this dress would have fit. I know this dress would have been perfect if I had had the right size. I rented this dress before RTR posted any fit specifications. I rented a 6 and a backup size 8 thinking that it might run small in the bust area being a high neck dress and all. Well when I finally got the size 8 zipped up I noticed that it flattened my chest in a very unflattering way. This dress will be adorable for a pear shape or an hourglass body but go TWO sizes up if you are a C cup or larger.

I ended up wearing my back-up dress because both sizes were TOO small. I would have still worn my back up dress since the sequins and fabric on this dress were so itchy. I know this dress would have rubbed my armpits raw if it had fit.

I would have given these pretty earrings a five if they didn't keep flipping around.

I thought this dress was so pretty once I got it all fashion taped up. I had to pin the halter at my neck so it wasn't too low and put fashion tape next to my strapless bra(front and back) to keep the dress in the right places. I used half my supply of fashion tape & all of the tape I was sent with the dress. I spent most of the evening worried my heels were going to tear a hole in the delicate silk but what was happening was my heel was getting caught in the thread that was holding the sequins on the dress.
