Overall, the dress is good--not great. I am not small chested (nor am I large chested), but the dress was pretty snug across my chest and as a result, made my chest look smaller. Additionally, there was a bit too much fabric around the waist which resulted in the dress bunching a bit. On me, a 5'6" woman, the dress went over my knees but was not quite tea-length. If I owned the dress, it could be a stunner with a bit of tailoring.

I rented this dress and wore it to work. The dress is as beautiful in person as it is in the picture. It has a really beautiful and intricate detail over the bottom layer. In terms of fit, it is loose fitting from the waist down due to the pleats. So, if you are looking for something body-conscious, this is not the dress for you. I would recommend this dress to anyone looking for a beautiful dress to wear to an upscale event.

I rented this dress with the anticipation of wearing it to work. I am 5'6", so not exceptionally tall, and the dress was too short for work. It hit several inches above the knee on me, despite what the picture indictes. It is a nice material and pretty dress, but I likely would not recommend it for work attire.

Whenever I order from Rent the Runway, I want the dress to be truly special. This dress, however, is not. While it is a pretty, feminine dress, the fit is fairly bulky. The tie around the waist seems cheap, and in turn makes the lower half of the dress quite bulky. Overall, it is a lot of fabric for a little dress.

I wore this dress in the spring of 2011 for a sorority formal. The nice parts of this dress are it enables you to wear a bra with it. The not so nice parts of this dress are it did not fit snugly around my waist. If you have a small waist, be advised this dress will likely be tight on you--everywhere but your waist (which in turn, can make you look boxier than you are.)
