This dress was gorgeous. It made me feel like a princess. Very elegant with its full skirt, tulle underskirt for volume, fitted waist, and it has POCKETS!!! I felt like twirling all night! I had just come off a week's vacation and Thanksgiving the day before, so I was sporting an extra 5 Pounds, but the fullness of the skirt hid all the evils. The bust was a conundrum... it felt sexy and flattering, but maybe a bit too much for a Debutante Ball where I was in charge, so I ended wearing a nude lace camisole underneath to tone down the cleavage. Had it been another event, I would have gone without that. The color is NOT burgundy... it's more of a dark grape purple with very little red in it at all, but I loved it. Still stood out in a sea of black. I wore it with a moderate wedge strappy heel since I would be on my feet all night and you couldn't see my feet anyway, but I did get the back of the dress stepped on a few times... A little platform may have served me better! Loved that it fit my waist well, as us curvy girls know that can be hard to find!

This dress is very unique and beautiful, but it was my back-up, and just didn't wow me as much as the other dress. It didn't feel as sexy as I had hoped, and the tealength was a little awkward on me. My friend in her 60's rocked this dress at an Indian wedding. I just wasn't feeling it so much on me for this event. I ordered a 4 and a 6, and since it was the day after Thanksgiving and a week of vacation, the 6 fit more comfortably with a couple of extra pounds than usual. I was more like 130 than 125 that day! Perfect Leger fit. I'm small in the waist, curvy in the hips, and Leger never fails to fit like a glove. Never that awkward gap in the middle U get from many designers. It hugs you like Spanx, but I still wore a little half slip Spanx to hold in all the Christmas goodies I've been eating. I went without a bra, just nipple covers, but you can wear one if it has wide set straps or go with strapless. The cage detail at the bottom brings on the compliments, but beware it does expose more leg when you sit, so be sure any slip you wear underneath is short enough. I loved pairing this with a cage style shoe. My husband loved this for our 20th Anniversary, and I got so many compliments from everyone I want to wear it every day!

Great Leger fit and interesting details. The color was a lot less metallic and more matte wood toned... my hubs said "It looks like bamboo." This was my back up for the electric blue cage-hemmed dress, so it was an easy choice to go with the blue. This color just was blah for me. Maybe better on blonde or redhead, or someone with dark skin, but it just made me feel washed out.

I wore this for a 25th reunion event. I wore the S, though I could have worn the XS, I wanted more coverage in the chest (the girls were on display plenty in the S!) and to feel more comfortable. Classic Herve fit... like wearing built-in Spanx. I am curvy with a small waist, so having a dress that fits in the chest, waist and hips, accentuating my curves, is priceless. Color was fantastic in a sea of black dresses. The hubs gave it a big "WOW!" and I got compliments all night. Tip: Dont hang Herve's by the straps. Fold it and put it on the hanger like pants. Prevents stretching. I would own a closet full of Herve if I could, so I'm grateful for RTR. Already reserved the blue cage dress for my anniversary!

I never thought I'd rely on RTR for a funeral, but it was perfect. When my grandmother died, I wanted something special for her service but had no desire to shop or to ever see the dress again afterwards, so RTR was great. I was able to order on Monday and get it on Wednesday. I ordered a 2 based on the reviews, knowing that I wanted it fitted well on my small waist, but knowing that the flared skirt would still fit my hips. It is a beautiful, artful patten that was classy and appropriate for a funeral without being boring black.

This dress was amazing for my 25th high school reunion. I am 5'5" and it hit mid-thigh. The S fit perfectly, though it did showcase the "girls" quite a bit. I have a small ribcage, and the S was almost snug but comfortable for me. The XS was too small in the waist to be comfortable all night, and would have been vulgar in the chest area! I am 34C, 25", 37" hourglass, 123 lbs. The color has more lavender to it than just a flat grey. I was glad the model photo showed gold heels. I wouldn't have thought of wearing gold, but I loved it with the dress. I wore a full slip underneath that has no bra cups, but gave a little lift and kept everything nice and smooth. The dress itself provides its own Spanx-like effect, I just wanted a little more since I'm 43 and not as toned as I used to be! . The shoulders stayed up just fine all night, and that was a concern since I tend to be narrow in the shoulders. The skirt is a fun accent and makes the dress feel special. I was very comfortable all night. I wore gold wedges, a gold cuff bracelet, and earrings. I felt a necklace was too much... the cleavage was enough going on there! I got a million compliments and will rent this again!

The 4 fit well, though I wonder if maybe a 2 might have been more flattering, but it wasn't available, so I got the 0 in case. The zero would even zip at the top once I hit the bust, but I wasn't surprised. The way the waist gathers causes it to stick out, making me look like my stomach was sticking out, even with Spanx, and my stomach is usually not an issue for me. The nude color was darker than I expected, the red a dark blood red. It is pretty, just not flattering for me at 5'5", 123, 34D, 25"37".

In a sea of black, this dress stood out, and I got compliments all night... My hubs said the men in the room were appreciative of the form-fitting dress, but it still felt classy for this conservative event. The 2 was a little snug on my 5'5", 123, 34 D , 25", 37" curvy frame, but definitely wearable. This dress has zero stretch to it, and can be a little scratchy, but nothing I noticed after a few minutes. The slip underneath needed to be adjusted at the straps a few times, as one side kept moving around on me. I wore this with no bra, but it was snug enough to not need one. I wore with peep toe red wedges and red earrings to add a pop of color for this Feb 13th event. The dress was a little on the short side, but not inappropriately so. I would buy this dress in a heartbeat! Definitely will rent again!

I ordered the XS and S, and word the S, due to not being able to zip the XS due to my fuller bust. The S worked perfectly, still thankfully pretty fitted at the waist, which is always a problem for me with a full C bust, 25" waist, and 36" hips. It wasn't easy to zip. It's hard to latch the hook at the top of the zipper under your arm, and the zipper gave me a little trouble on the way up. Would have helped to have an extra set of hands! The lace is beautiful. Be sure if you pack it (and when wearing a coat over it,) that the lace is lying flat so it doesn't fold over. The navy over nude lace was elegant and stood out in a sea of black. I would wear this without a cami for a date night or party, but since this was a work event for my hubs' company, I chose a sheer nude lace cami to still tastefully show off some cleavage (it's a pretty casual, hip crowd) but a little more modestly. (Macy's had a great one!) The flair in the skirt makes it playful, and I didn't need Spanx due to the shape of the dress. I could have worn a low cut bra since I had the cami, but I chose to wear a stick-on. I wore rose gold earrings (the nude lace underneath has a hint of pink), a rose gold wrap, and gold shoes. I would rent this again!

I ordered this in a 2 and a 4. The 2 felt much better in the waist for me, as I have an hourglass shape and prefer things fitted in that area. I loved the cutout that gave a hint of cleavage without being too much, and the length was right at the knee. It was form-fitting but not tight . I could wear a regular bra, and it has the fasteners that hold in the straps. I wore a Soanx slip to hold everything in, but almost could have gone without as the dress has nice structure and weight to it. My husband wants me to rent it again, so that's about the best compliment I could get!

I wish I had gotten a better photo! This was the 2nd try at this dress. I had rented it for another wedding as a back-up, and the 4 was way too big in the waist. I could literally grab a handful of fabric in the waist of the 4. I tried a belt, but there was too much fabric. This time I got a 0 as a back-up dress, and ended up choosing this one for the wedding. It was snug in the chest area, but fit perfectly in the waist, which is to be expected on a 34C chest in a size 0! I have learned I am better off going down a size or 2 in flowy-skirted dresses if I want them to fit my waist. The skirt started a little bit above my natural waist, so it left some room for dinner! I love the zipper going all the way down the back, and since my arms/chest have not seen a gym in awhile, it was nice that the straps sat over the "underarm mush" area well! Flirty and fun dress!

The dress was beautiful , but even at 42, it felt a little matronly for me. I have a difficult time finding things that fit my hourglass shape, and this was another time I failed, despite reading all the reviews carefully. It wasn't terrible, but I could grab a handful of material at my waist, even in the backup size 2. I usually wear a 4 in things that are fitted in the hips. Maybe a 0 might have worked, but the dress still felt very Mother of the Bride to me. Love RTR, this just wasn't the right dress for me.

The dress was true to size for my daughter, 5'2", 120 lbs, 34D, athletic body type. The print is beautiful, sophisticated, yet appropriate for a teenager to any age on up. It has cups printed into the design, but they aren't really supportive cups. She wore a strapless bra underneath. We had to tack the straps up about two inches. The blue in the dress was perfect with her blue eyes, she loved the pockets, and was able to dance all night and not worry about the skirt length... as did I in my beautiful but short RTR dress. This dress was large in the waist for me, but I had a belt that worked. I have an hourglass shape, so I often have trouble finding things that cinch in the waist enough but still fit my curvy bust and hips. I probably should have ordered the 2 knowing the skirt was full, but I had ordered tow other dresses for this wedding for my daughter and me, so I rolled the dice. Thankfully it worked. This dress looks in some photos like it's a heavier embroidered texture, but it is a thinner material with the design printed on the fabric. It was great for a hot summer rehearsal dinner. The zipper is pretty hidden, though not 100%, but no one noticed unless she told them. She wore it backwards as shown, and it was a hit! It is very short, even on her at 5'2"! The dress arrived 24 hours late, and I tried to call RTR 5 times throughout the day, but they were always "away from the phone right now." I got a very late email back. Thankfully it came in time for the event, but it taught me to always order with as many days buffer as possible! She got tons of compliments on this unique dress!
