I rented this dress for a Kentucky Derby party and it was great. I got many compliments. The adjustable straps were great to keep the top tight and in place. The size 12 was too tight so I wore the 14 and it was a little big but I was able to adjust the straps and tighten things up. It is very flowy on the bottom and the slit was nice.

I was celebrating my 40th birthday and having a special dinner with friends and I wanted to get something fun and different for the dinner and this dress was it. The color is a rich green and very beautiful. The feathers on the sleeves are super fun, but just beware it is hard to eat, drink, go to the bathroom and wash your hands, basically do anything (haha!). But I do recommend renting this dress for a special occasion or something different. My friends all loved it. I wore the size large and it fit perfectly. I tried the XL and it was just a little bit too big. The sizing is pretty true to size.

Honestly, at first when I got this dress it was not looking like the photo and I felt it was very Little House on the Prairie. The sleeves were very poufy and I did not like it. This is a really pretty dress and I wore it for my husband's work gala. I wore the large because the dress is really form fitting and the large allowed me to wear spanx underneath. I rented this for a wedding I was a guest at and I loved that it had sleeves for a mid October wedding. I thought the dress was beautiful and I got many compliments on it. However, there were a few cons about the dress. First, the slip underneath was longer than the lace overlay at time. I had to pull the lace down so that it wouldn't be shorter than the slip. Second, some of the lace was worn and pilling. Third, the slip underneath did not allow me to wear Spanx, which I wanted to do to smooth things out. The slip became skin tight when I had Spanx on and stuck to the Spanx. Like I said, overall a great dress and I got lots of compliments on it but it wasn't my favorite RTR rental.
