I seriously love everything about this coat - the inner layer is super soft and warm and the cut of the wool outer layer is wonderfully flattering - even with layers underneath. The material and cut of this dress are quite nice - and it has pockets, which is always a bonus! But it runs really large. I am a 10/12 in dresses so RTR recommended the large. I could gather at least an inch of material on either side of my waist. Would have been really flattering with a good fit though. Instead I had to thrown on a wrap and force it a bit.

First off, this material is fantastic. The dress itself seemed a little large and looked somewhat kimono like when I first put it on. I added a tank top (it's a little low cut), belt (the built in belt doesn't do a great job of giving your waist definition) and finally ticked the cuff of the sleeve back inside to give it more of a short sleeve winged look (arms were too long with the cuffs too big and flows, which just added too much volume). But then it looked great! If you are between sizes, size down. That could help too.

Fit details: - the shorter areas of the skirt are a little shorter than I would have ideally liked but there is enough material that it works well and isn't obvious - the top is fitted. If you are larger on top, consider sizing up or be prepared to wear a tank with a few buttons undone The only downside is that it doesn't travel well. I have had my eye on this dress for awhile and really wanted to love it but it just wasn't flattering on my pear shape. I would encourage you to really look at the pictures of the BACK of this sweater. The back is very high - like 3" above the waistline of my jeans when sitting. The middle of the back is also a little different than I expected - a firmer, non-sweater material. It's still flattering (even on curvy girls!) but is something you'll want to be aware of and plan for. The material is very thick and warm with beautiful faux fur collar that lays really nicely. Paired with skinny jeans, boots and a turtleneck for a look that transitions well from daytime at work on a casual day to drinks with friends. Highly recommend and will likely rent again.
