It was a supple leather. I wish it zipped up but I really liked the cut and style.

Didn't wear it, it was a backup. It didn't hit me in the right spots because I'm petite and the back was more of a train than a high low. It was an attractive dress. The smooth material showed anything worn underneath but that's the only minus.

This is a very nice quality embroidered Kate Spade dress. The pockets are a definite bonus. I'm typically a 4 petite in dresses (5'4", 118, 34C). The 4R was fairly tight and tea length on me. I felt comfortable at the black tie wedding, not the dressy, but certainly formal enough. I would order a size up unless you're super narrow up top.
