The waistline on this dress is super weirdly high, even for me at 5'1, it hit almost 3" above my natural waist. It also runs small in general. The material is a cotton jersey-knit, which is hard to tell from the picture. That makes for a very comfy dress but much more casual than I was looking for. Pockets are a plus! I would consider renting it again in a size up. My measurements: Full bust: 34, Underbust: 30, Waist: 27, Full hip: 40.

First of all, as someone who sews, the construction of this dress is incredible. The seam finishing, inside, everything is really beautifully made. Secondly, I thought it fit beautifully. It is much longer on me than the model, and if I owned it I probably would hem it slightly, but the longer pencil skirt was nice in it's own way as well. I definitely will be wearing spanx with it (not wearing them in this picture, which I don't think does the dress justice anyway) as it does show panty lines. All that said, I definitely feel like a boss in this dress. It's a little on the fancy side for my office but I didn't feel out of place either. My measurements: Full bust: 34, Underbust: 30, Waist: 27, Full hip: 40.

This dress was very comfortable, it's a scuba type material so there's a lot of stretch. I wore a 4, which I think looked nice, but the shoulders were a little wide and there was a good bit of extra material for my small chest. I love the look of this dress on and the way it hugs my curves. I would recommend sizing up as RTR recommends, I was recommended a 6 but the 4 was all that was available. It worked, but a 6 would have been more comfortable. The sleeves especially were snug, as the fabric has no stretch. Also note that it's pretty tricky to zip up by yourself. This was the perfect work dress, it is modest enough for a conservative office while still being flattering. I think it would also be nice for a autumn/winter wedding or event, it's quite formal. I wore a size 4 but probably could have done a 2 just as well. The material has a good bit of stretch. The color is as shown in the product pictures. Would rent again.
