This dress I had to pin together to keep my bra from showing. It was not fun having to fix my dress frequently throughout the night. The dress itself is very pretty, but didn’t work for me at all. It might fit someone else better. It hit me mid-thigh which was shorter than I was expecting it to be. Also, the sleeves were tighter than I would’ve liked. They restricted my movement. I would not recommend this dress.

I ordered S and M and wore the S very comfortably. I’m 5’4” and 135-140 lbs with a small bust. The dress fell just above the knees for me. It was very easy to move around it and dance in at a very fancy wedding. I got lots of compliments. Seems like it would work on lots of body types and can easily be dressed up with a shawl or jewelry. Didn’t hold wrinkles either, which is always a plus. I wore this dress on a 90 degree day and while it’s not a thin dress, I was comfortable, but I could see it being a good dress in cooler weather as well. A great dress overall. I would order it again. I highly recommend.

The dress fit beautifully. I had bought a dress at DB and decided the week before the wedding that I didn't like the gown anymore. The Amber Gown was a life saver. It fit more true to size than any dress I tried on at DB - I was more typically a 2 wedding dress shopping, but in this gown, like I normally run, 4 was perfect. I was able to wear a normal bra. I did have to steam the skirt before I wore it - it holds wrinkles from being shipped and previous reviewers said the same thing. I wore 2" heels and it was maybe a touch too long - I rented a regular length. I loved it for my farm wedding.
