Loved this!
I got a ton of compliments on this dress which I wore for my baby shower at 32 weeks. For reference I ordered a size up from my usual and I currently weigh 160lb, up from 135lb. The color of green is strikingly beautiful, the knit is heavy but not terribly hot, breathable enough to be comfortable and not itchy at all. I loved the length of this, the slit was tasteful. Overall, highly recommend this one! Would rent again!

Pretty knit
I didn’t end up wearing it for the event I rented it for because I wasn’t crazy about the olive green color. The pattern of the knit is very pretty though. This had good stretch and is very forgiving. I wore 1 size up (M) at 32 weeks pregnant (for reference I currently weigh about 160lb and 135 pre-pregnancy).

Wore this at 31 weeks pregnant
I found this dress to be incredibly comfortable, stretchy and flattering. I am 31 weeks pregnant and wore a size L (you can see my pre-pregnancy size and I currently weigh 160ish). I did not need shape wear with this and purposely ordered a size up than other pregnant reviewers so that I wouldn’t feel sausaged in.

Like other reviewers I found the vibrant color and texture of the fabric to be divine. The problem I found was with the fit of the back of the dress. In my opinion it looked like an apron, I didn’t find this to be complimentary to my body and decided not to wear it. For reference, I am 30 weeks pregnant, I rented a size small and I currently weigh about 160 (you can see my pre-pregnancy sizing).

29 weeks pregnant
I wore this when I was 29 weeks pregnant for my baby shower. I ordered 1 size up, I’d usually wear a small and rented a medium instead (you can see my pre-pregnancy size and I’ve gained about 25 pounds for reference). I gave this 4 stars because I found this to be a bit itchy over my belly. It had good stretch, kept me warm and the color was fabulous. I’d recommend for colder weather events.

Beautiful color, unique silhouette
I liked this rental a lot, but I didn’t love it. I have a fairly flat chest and probably was in between a 6 and 8 but rented a 8 and 10 based on other reviews. I spent a lot of the evening pulling the dress up even with taping to my sticky bra. I needed to fashion tape the hem to make it shorter too. I wore this to an outdoor wedding in Charlottesville and it was a little bit too hot of a garment for the muggy weather there. As others have said, the top is not stretchy but the bottom is very forgiving, so great for wide hipped gals like me.

Gorgeous print
I wore a size small and really needed the extra small. It’s cotton so it’s a bit more casual than it looks in the photo and I would absolutely wear this again in the right size. I ended up needing to use garment tape to “hem” it and belt it so it wasn’t swimming on me. It has pockets and the back is a sweet surprise. I did not wear a bra, but I also have a small chest so that wasn’t an issue for me. I have wide hips and a smaller waistline for reference.

Radiant dress
Checked the Selkie website for fit details before ordering and ended up wearing the small instead of the XS (I’m a 32B and 5’5” and I did not wear/need a bra). I wore this for a formal wedding and got tons of compliments. It’s definitely voluminous, so if that will bother you, pass on this dress. My favorite part was the fit of the top, I thought it framed my chest and shoulders nicely. The elastic of the off the shoulder bit wasn’t too uncomfortable, but it did leave marks by the end of the night.

The waist fit true to size, but like a lot of the other reviews said, there is a lot of fabric in the top of the dress. I did use fabric tape along the front v, because it is fairly deep and I am relatively flat chested. I didn't mind the excess fabric, I thought it just gave the dress a blousy effect. The colors in the dress were vibrant and gorgeous, and it was very lightweight without being see-through. Highly recommend if you have fabric tape!

Compliments all night!
I have wide hips (usually wear a 27/28 or a size 4 but generally need the waist taken in) and a small bust (32B). Based on previous reviews I ordered a 2 and a 4 and I ended up wearing the 4. It was still a bit snug in the hips (it has a faux wrap detail in the skirt that's tough to see in photos) but still comfortable. It was breezy and lightweight, I stayed cool in the heat all night. The arm elastic was not too tight for me like other reviewers commented. Rent this dress!
