This was a fun and flattering dress for my work party. I'm 5 months post-partum so I needed something comfortable but yet something that made me feel pretty and this achieved that. When I put it on for the party I noticed a small tear by one of the pockets (it has pockets!) and then I quickly realized that the tear was most likely from someone having to constantly pull the dress down throughout the night because it does shift up quite a bit. That was my only complaint about this dress. It is a wrinkly material but I gave it a light iron before and it was fine. Overall, I was pleased with it.

I love this color of the dress and how sparkly it is. I didn't end up wearing this one though. I rented the 8 and got the 10 as a backup. The 8 was pretty tight and the 10 fit perfectly. I love the tunic-style of the dress, which is forgiving in the tummy area, but I found the neck and shoulder are of this dress to be a bit bulky-feeling. It's also a lot of material and I wonder if I would have gotten hot at our indoor event, even though it was winter.

I decided to rent a dress since I'm in my first trimester and didn't really have anything at home to wear. Not everyone at the event knew I was pregnant so I didn't want anything to clingy, but I still wanted to wear something fun. This dress was perfect! I initially thought it may be too form-fitting in the waist, but once I tried on the large, it was way more forgiving. It was comfortable and I could even wear a regular bra underneath it (and spanx of course!). I got so many compliments on it and felt pretty in the bright sequins!
