SO happy with this rental! Wore it in November Europe weather and it was perfect. I loved that it was neutral but patterned. All of my friends tried to get me to buy it because it was so flattering. I truly LOVED it.

Classic, but size down.
I love the structure of this and the quality is so good. Material is a thicker sort of scratchy material so if that's going to bother you, pass on this top. I ended up returning it because It was too big on me. It doesn't look big but I was adjusting it the entire time I had it on. But i felt cute in it so. :)

Birthday Dress!
E&J always runs a little small, but that's why I always go back to them. The fit is always flattering, onceee you go up a size! Just let it happen because it'll pay off. Sadly the temperature dropped that night to about 30 so I didn't end up wearing it. I will definitely be getting it again. There is no doubt about it! I contacted RTR and when I told them about the weather they immediately gave me a credit to use once I arrived in Vegas! Amazing customer service!

Okay, they are beautiful in person! Large but not too heavy! I looked into buying them immediately and that couldn't happen. Anyways, I rented them for a night out in Vegas, but honestly...they'd go with EVERYTHING! The color is beautiful, picks up on whatever you are wearing. Seriously, the best!

Didn't end up wearing this... there was some problems with my original dress and this was sent as a backup backup! Ha! This dress ended up having a stain on it which broke my heart because it was SO fun! The details are really nice! The only complaint was the coloring was not ideal for my skin tone (and it being winter, oy!) and the lining under the dress stops at your upper thigh which caused a weird bump there. The material definitely shows everything so if you are slightly concerned about that...this isn't the dress for you! I still would've rocked it if it didn't have a stain though!

Rented this for a work black tie event we have every year... was really worried because my body does not do well with material that does not form to the body. I can't do boxy styles (as much as I try). This dress was stunning on, and very classic. The only problem I had was I wore spanx and the lining would cling to the spanx causing the dress to twist as I moved around instead of flow. I didn't need the spanx because the dress was very flattering, but I felt more confident with them. I need this dress in all the colors it offers! If i was to rent it again I would definitely add a big bracelet to it. Neckline doesn't need a necklace personally. A lot happened with my order... (unavailable dresses, stains, swapping of backups..etc.) BUT the customer service team helped out TREMENDOUSLY! I will never stop using RTR because of it! Thank you!

The dress is just made for Vegas!
The lining hugs your body. Which is perfect because it keeps you sucked in. The sequins snagged at my hair and on each other, but you're going to get that with any dress covered in sequins. The dress ended up being the perfect length. I worried it would not have any give but it really did! This is completely different then anything else i would wear, which was exactly what I was going for!

Rent the Runway + Elizabeth & James = perfection!
Rented this dress for my 25th birthday weekend. It was so hard to send this dress back. It worried me at first because it looked SO short on everyone else, but ended up working out perfect. The statement necklace definitely made it pop. I wouldn't recommend choosing this dress if you are using it for a semi-formal or formal affair unless you jazz it up with jewelry. I received tons of compliments while wearing it. I will definitely rent this again. Didn't wear a bra, but i could have done sticky boobs. Strapless would have shown on the back.

I definitely was pleased with my rent the runway experience because as soon as I pulled this gown out of the bag I could tell it had amazing quality. It had a lot of layers which made it difficult to stand up quickly because of my heels / length. But I managed. I could never quite figure out how to pose to get the slit to show off like the model did, but that's whatever. I ended up going a size up because it definitely holds you in tight in the chest. I loved that I didn't need a bra and the color was so pretty in person. Much better than the simple black most people wore. I received the gown a day later than expected and when I reached out to RTR they were quick to offer me solutions. I will DEFINITELY be renting more dresses from RTR!!!
